PLUGIN IS NOW BEING UPDATED TO THE LASTEST RC BUILD AS WELL AS NEW FEATURES ARE BEING ADDED!
We are now adding DNS blacklisting features.. This will stop most if not all proxies on your servers!

Posted Jan 10, 2012I'd like to use something like this as an alternative to MCBans, which never works right and hasn't been updated in ages.
However is there a way to run my user list through the system to see if any active or valued players would be banned, before doing so?

We also changed the way it responds to the database. Horray.

Posted Dec 7, 2011Please add information on the process for determining whether or not someone should be placed on the list. In this case, it seems the plugin idea is very straight forward, but the quality of the data is paramount.
Will you be posting the submitted "proof" for the community to vet?
Will you keep ban lists for theft, build/break grief, unsanctioned PvP, and spam, as well as outright hacks?
Have you considered renaming this plugin to something that will make its purpose known? Maybe "Community Ban List"? "yourfunworld" sounds like some random, useless plugin to replace zombies with clowns or something.

Thank you. I used to be a major developer of CBL, which was a community ban list made for a game called Combat Arms. I want to take the ideas that I had for CBL and make a MineCraft version of it.

I also added you as a tester for the project so you will be able to access the alpha and betas when they are released.

Posted Dec 5, 2011Your description sounds pretty straight forward, that's what people need after the last confusing weeks with MCBans... there are several bugs, the website is a mess and people are looking for alternatives. I hope this turns out well!
If you need Beta testers, tell me I have a server and I'm looking for a good anti hacker system with much potential!
