XRay Informer
Thank you for 70,000 downloads! CoreProtect support is here!!!
Do you have a minecraft server and have trouble with users x-raying?
XrayInformer may be your solution to get rid of them.
XrayInformer hooks into your server logging plugin and calculates data to tell you if a player is cheating with an Xray mod.

As a learning and aspiring developer, I am still looking for some means of support in future school endeavors. If you would like to donate and help support me, it would be greatly appreciated. My plugins are free, and this is optional. If you can't support me through monetary means, please feel free to comment and check out my other plugins as well. Anything helps, thanks!
Be sure to check out my other Bukkit plugins!

@Kartus
I have a working BB for 1.1 R3 Amongst the million pages i had to go through to retrieve it lol I do agree that LB has more commands than necessary haha
I'm just having a problem with the x-ray informer when i do /xcheck player:all it tries to check the player called "all" rather than checking everyone in one table as a mass check Am i doing something wrong? i also tried /xcheck player:all ore:56 but to no avail Thanks in advance guys
@Conderan
guardian, the successor of 3 log-plugins will take 6+ months until it becomes an alternative. bigbrother is broken or no more in development.
only hawkeye and logblock exists. i use hawkeye, cause it's more lik BB and more userfriendly for me, espiacally the webinterface is the advantage. i can't handle the command-logic of LB.
me would donate for HE support... i think others would too. and HE has an API, so it can't be that much work to change the variables.
sourcemaker: Been a while source. I had to change irc clients and lost your irc room name. What was it again? Anyway, glad to see you moving X-ray Informer along. Also, what about logging suspicious players to a suspicious.log or something? You could queue up the checks when the player logs onto the server. Then implement a command to read from the suspicious.log. That would help admins keep tabs on possible x-rayers. You could even put in a configurable time_between_query option so server restarts wouldn't cause epic lag on smaller servers. Just a thought. Either way, keep up the great work!
@Valtn
No, when you type the commands, it does a check then shows you the stats.
Such as /xcheck player:Valtn will show you your stats.
Also, I haven't said it before, but this plugin has been a HUGE help on my server and I really appreciate you developing it. :)
So when people press "x" to activate x-ray that text from the images will appear?
when loading this plugin, i use mcmyadmin, and on the plugin list it shows as 2.1.5 but the server boots up, in all the logs it still loads at 2.1.4 and when i do any commands it still shows as 2.1.4
and also when i go to use this, when i use 'xcheck player:player name' it doesn't bring back any results.
I am using bukkit 1.1-r3 with what i think is XRI 2.1.5 and log block 1.50
@zOxigen00 Update Logblock to the latest version... it's 1.50
Hello! I used this command: xcheck player:blabla , and i got this error: http://pastebin.com/NKXKtD8J Im a did something wrong?
@selfservice0
If all other permissions plugins were about to go obsolete, i'd see your point. But, that's not the case. All block logging plugins are about to go obsolete. Again, hawkeye, logblock, and bigbrother are all merged into the same project right now and being rewritten completely. At some point in the future, they will all break and not be fixed.
@Conderan
hardly, thats like saying plugins should only support 1 permissions plugin
@selfservice0
The 3 major (only?) block logger are merging, him rewriting this to handle hawkeye right now is silly.
support hawkeye pls
@Legendrunner IMHO every server-admin and -mod should know at least the item-id's in minecraft - if not just add the following sheet to your favourites: http://www.minecraftwiki.net/images/8/8c/DataValuesBeta.png
But: You don't need to enter the argument "ore" :-D Try /xcheck player:blabla
Then the default ore's are shown, which were configured in the /xrayinformer/config.yml ;-)
e.g:
I must say, I'm happy Xray Informer is finally multiworld.
Though, I find using it terrible right now. Also my mods and admins are complaining. Mods/admins are able to remember ./xcheck player:<name> ore:<id> But they cannot remember all the ID's.
This is why I suggest to post Stone, dia, mossy, lapis and gold if the "ore" parameter is missing. This will make it -alot- easier to use.
@Shishnatobobby85 Of couse it's not perfect. It informs about farmrates - you (or the server staff) has to configure the config.yml AND have to teleport to the coords to "confirm" xray-using. This plugin can't confirm.
The check-over-time will be available in a future version exactly like many more features (lightlevel, mining-pattern, and so on)
The XrayInformer is needed on our servers, too - so the development won't stop ;-)
Hello,
The server I play on uses this mod and I can say for certain that although we all likely appreciate your mod, this method of detection isn't perfect. Today I was wrongfully banned for "confirmed x-raying" off of my server and I wanted to bring to your attention ways that may improve it to make it more accurate.
This modification does not seem to take into account the fact that players can find plenty of exposed ore in ravines and large cave areas, mitigating the need to mine much smoothstone and therefore skewing the ratio of stones to ore in a legitimate and innocent way. This alienates players who tend to stick around large underground areas and avoid mining stone in favor of simply mining ore that is exposed in plain sight such as me. On the server I play on, we're allowed to set private warps so whenever I feel like going back to my ravine after setting my warp there, I can do so without having to mine stone to get back which even further distorts the accuracy.
If I can suggest, maybe you can add a timestamp of some sort to see when players mined these ores to help this mod be more accurate. If a player gathers 30 diamonds in the span of 10-20 minutes as opposed to the span of several hours could help be more indicative if someone is x-raying, for example.
@Xevets It's xcheck.check
@Warhawker Yes, just add the world-parameter: world:your_world_name
Possible to track more than 1 world? How would the format in the config be for that?
What are the permissions for xrayinformer commands? I tried giving xcheck.* to my mod group but that didn't work. Didn't see any info on permissions.
@freaky85 to make it short: Please PM me your server-ip - because this is not a chat ;-)
