Working towards 1.7.9-R0.2 update. Currently updateing xAuth.
I would love to see this plugin updated! I love it, and miss it terribly. I have managed to make it run on one of the 1.7.10 builds of bukkit, but its not liking making the StandardSignDial shape work. Any commands I could use to force it to build a gate of that shape with a specific name connected to the public network? It's not throwing any errors when I try to make a gate. I build a gate with a DHD, and a sign with the intended gate name on the top line, and then I flip the lever (have also tried buttons), but it ends up making the gate you have to use /dial with.
Just started updating my repositories. However i will not have time to update the plugin until Saturday.

Here again for all, how I got the plugin to work.
I have all the wormholes removed. Then I deleted the plugin and restart the server. And finally reinstalled the plugin and restart the server.
Of course, I then create the wormholes again.

But I must say that all wormholes still work. But I also use the version with the signs.
I play 1.7.9.
Iris: the metal shield that closes the stargate to block travelers
IDC: the remote control SG-1 used to signal they were coming through the stargate. Stargate command would open the iris.
When creating a stargate using this plugin, you must first place two levers on the obsidian blocks. The bottom lever will open and close the iris.

I may have found a work around getting the gates to work. I had placed an iris/IDC on some of my gates. I discovered that if you initiate the gate and dial, then close and reopen the iris...the wormhole will connect and work.
I rebuilt two of my gates with an IDC and tested it several times. It worked every time.
I dont think this works with 1.7. I have dialed the gate and the wormhole links but you can not enter it as the water effect does not spawn. Any ideas? I love the plugin I just seem to have issues with it in 1.7!

I do understand them too since its been a while since i updated the plugin. I probably would have been impatient too after a while but there are times when you simply can't control those things called live changing events.
Of course i could have just pushed quick and dirty fixes ... but thats not what i have in mind. I need to be sure before publishing something otherwise i would risk destroying worlds literally.

Many people forget that these are private projects. Of course I understand the impatience because you absolutely wants his favorite mod is working again, but here you should support the modders rather than complain.
I am also sure that you make the mod perfect again.

Although this will be probably only a fix build to make this plugin work again. Depending on how fast i can rebuild the plugin a new version will follow.
My two week vacation starts at 18th July this month. I will have plenty of time to make this plugin great again and hopefully fix my mistakes i made in the past. I will try to come up with something earlier if my time schedule allows it.
I'm guessing we'll see an update pretty soon. Been waiting for this plugin to get back! :D
