World Portal
Create portals using signs, pressureplates, buttons and more!!
World Portal is a really useful and simple to use plugin to make portals in your server. Players could use the portals to teleport to another location or even to another world. This is also really useful when you have a large server so players could go to other places them self really easy. With World Portal you could even generate and teleport to other worlds, very smoothly with no problems. You could make portals using, buttons, pressure plates, switches and even more. World Portal is the ultimate solution for portals, and even for multi world management.

@timvisee
No, not everything. Still no PEX recognized :-(
@aptthemad
So everything does work again right now?
@timvisee
Ok. I removed everything: WP works flawlessly (apart from PermissionsEx of course ;-) ) I added again everything, one plugin a time: WP continues to work... Sorry for the false alarm, then. Maybe it was a problem with the client? I tried to click that same stone slab with everything before... with no result. Well, thank you again for your attention and sorry for wasting your time!
@aptthemad
That would be great. But I didn't see anything special about those plugins, I mean they aren't like spout which changes your whole server :-/ ..
@timvisee
Mmmh. I'm using the last craftbukkit beta build (2034). Since you don't experiment problems, I'll try removing other plugins. In addition to PEX and WP, I use LWC, Worldedit, WorldGuard, NoCheat and mcMMO. I will remove them all and see what happens...
@TWKM
Hi, about your question of survival to creative for example, it isn't possible yet but I already planned to add this because it could be really usefull!
This is a great plugin
Running the 1.2.3 build at the moment and have had no problems One thing I wanted to ask is : is there anyway that when I teleport from one world to the other, can i make it so it changes me from survival on one, to creative on the other?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks
TWKM
@aptthemad
Hmm, what craft bukkit version are you using because everything seemed to work fine for me!
Sorry to bring other bad news...
After opping myself I was able to execute /wp create... ...but only to discover that right clicking on the portal object (the usual stone slab) was impossible: WP doesn't seem to register the event. Maybe a problem with the new event system?
I should have remained with the 1.1 too, for the time being... but many players 'wanted' the upgrade and I was so stupid to give in... bah!
@aptthemad
Thanks for noting this, this is probably because of the PEX update or anything like that. I've my server still running in 1.1 so I didn't saw this problem. If this really is the problem, the outdated build-in pex I'll update it and add the pex system to it. I'll also add and update other permissions systems if needed. Thanks.
After updating Craftbukkit to the 1.2.3 beta, PermissionsEx to 1.19 and World Portal to 0.2.2, it seems that WP doesn't recognize PEX anymore. This is the result on startup or, in this case, even after trying with pluginreloader to be sure pex is fully operational:
Even if I'm Admin with '*' permissions, and even worldportal.create added explicitly to my user, /wp create always return with "You don't have permission". (Of course it was working perfectly before updating)
I think I can make myself op as a workaround for the moment (not yet tested) but I need the permission system working for the players...
BTW, thanks to your plugin we have an extensive portal network system , with color coded standardized stations, across four worlds... Thanks!
@Geoneo97
It does already work with the newest Craft Bukkit version, you'll probably need to update your server because one of the dev builds of craft bukkit had some problems with World Portal (download version 1.2.3-R0.2 I think)
1.2 please
I'm sorry but you've to give it a try.
Sorry for the late reply. I normally don't look on this curse page.
Does the R6 version work with R01?
@GodOfJazz
Yes sure it is possible ;). If you are using a permissions system you need to give the players the permission worldportal.use and disable the permission worldportal.tp which is the permission node for that command, the use permission node is the node to use hte portals. Hope this helps;
@GuildMasterJake
Hi, I already thought about the thing like the message when someone arives in the world, I'll try to add multiworld support for it I mean that you could change messages for each world but first I'm going to fix the new bukkit version bug.
I want people to ONLY be able to teleport to locations by operating the switches, not by using a command. is this possible?
I would love to be able to have a chat message displayed when arriving in a world, which may be customized by the server admin. I need a custom message for each world.
Example:
World1 "The boat has arrived in Narnia :P "
World2 "Welcome to Mordor, check your bags at the Black Gate :S "
World3 "You've arrived in Tristram, stay a while and listen!"
Thanks for the great plugin!
@Mig_B
I released the newest version of World Portal! The annoying huge bug is fixed now!
