WhoPlacedIt
This plugin enables players to see who placed a block or deleted it.
Usage: Just right click on any block that was placed after this plugin was installed to see who did it. This can be restricted to certain items the user has to hold in his hands at the time of the right click (default setting is that it only works when a stick is held in the users hands). Per default a player can see the last 3 remove/place actions for that block, this can be disabled in the config.
Currently this plugin uses sqlite or mysql to store its data. The Library provided by alta189 is used for this purpose
The config file for this plugin (WhoPlacedIt/WhoPlacedIt.properties) will be created automatically at first start with sqlite as default database setting, enabled history and restricted to sticks. If you want create your own properties file you can either do this by hand, or with this little script: http:hikinggrass.de/whoplacedit/index.php Features:
- Tracks when a player places a block and when this block is removed later
- Tracks fire since version 0.4
- Tracks what kind of block you placed/deleted since version 0.5
- Has permissions support (tested with permissionsBukkit), whoplacedit.magicstick is the only permission that can be used to enable/disable the "magic stick"
- You can configure how many block changes you want to see when you right click on a block. The amount can be set via the historyEntries option in the config file
Very useful and works for 1.7.5 so I thank you allot

@deleted_8428427
i also get that message please help it crashes my server
24.06 22:00:40 [Server] WARNING [SQL INFO]Error at SQL Query: query does not return ResultSet
When i do the command "/reload", i get an error of mysql like "[MySQL] Error at SQL UPDATE Query" How to fix this problem?
Hi sounds as nice not feature cluttered plugin. It would be usefull to have option to disable blocktracking for some perm groups. It could save some performance and space in db if we track only new players
@mati123se
Its your fault for updating the server. You can't expect someone to fix someone else's mistakes.
@ Hikinggrass: Thanks for the plugin, i'll test it out soon :-)
@Hikinggrass
NEXT WEEKEND?? I NEED IT NOW! IM GETTing big greif and hack lines because all hackers know that the plugins are proken and the servers are easy to brake
Yes, this plugin will be updated soon to be compatible with 1.2.3. I think this will be done until next weekend :)
Is there any plans to update this to 1.2.3? I know CB is still in a Beta build, but it would be nice to have this plugin working again, its saved me a bunch of times.. :-)
I do have Hawkeye running as well, but it is so much faster to be able to just walk up and hit the blocks that were changed to see who did it.. :-)
i'll look into these issues as soon as i have time to do so! I hope I'll find some time very soon!
When I have no players for a long time connection to MySQL server is closed and I got the following error:
The last 3 errors are so spamming my cosole! Please make something with it or tell me what do I have to configure to avoid it!
This is a great little plugin to catch greifers, but whenever the server has been running for awhile (30mins or so) the consol returns back:
[WARNING] [SQL INFO]Error at SQL Query: query does not return ResultSet]
over and over and causes end of stream messages. Please help as i love this plugin! :)
Could you update this awesome plugin to 1550+ version of Craftbukkit?
