Overview
VoxelGuest 5 VoxelGuest is a powerful user management and server administration suite that functions as a conglomerate of modules, each with a distinct purpose.
Key features include:
- Permissions support for Vault
- Comprehensive region and region protection system which provides all sorts of region-based control, from blacklisting items and blocks to toggling any kinds of damage of players to controlling entity spawn and restricting player interactions
- Region snapshotting allows you to create a snapshot of a region and roll back to this snapshot whenever you want (Version 5.2)
- Vanish and FakeQuit, in case you have a rowdy crowd of members online and you need to check in
- Essential commands
- Lag meters, CPU monitors, and memory specifications in-game
- Dealing of rowdy players e.g. gagging, kicking, and banning functions.
- Statsd - Graphite - Grafana integration, because everyone loves statistics! (Version 5.2)
About us
The Voxel Box is a community-driven creative play server that consistently push the limits of what the Minecraft client and server can deliver to builders and to players. Over the past year and a half, it's blossomed into a place where some very talented people have built some of the most impressive Minecraft-related structures, software and concepts.
Development Builds
Development builds can be obtained from our continuous integration server. Please note that these builds are automatically generated and must be considered unstable. It is possible that upgrading to a development build may damage VoxelGuest's persistence database. These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Do not use these builds on production servers.
Metrics
We are using MCStats to collect VoxelGuest usage data. Information being sent to their servers includes but is not limited to:
- A unique identifier
- The version of Java you are running
- OS name and version, system architecture and number of CPU cores
- The version and kind of the server you are using
- The authentication mode of your server (online, offline)
- The version of VoxelGuest and Metrics you are running
- The country your server is in
- The number of players online
- Enabled VoxelGuest modules
- The number of banned and muted people
Usage statistics collection can be disabled in future versions of VoxelGuest.

I have a feeling Doop doesn't even work in 1.2.
<<reply 608453>>
Could I just restrict the use of some of the tools on the Dooplicator like the destructive tools and only allow the dooplicator as the only tool?
if so i just set all the data values in the config to 0 correct?
Oh and Will plugin such as LogBlock, Hawkeye, and Bigbrother log the block changes that the Voxeldoop tools make or no?
The issue with Doop is that it's NOT Permissions-oriented. I recommend ToolBelt, a VoxelDoop derivative that we promote that has Permissions support. Still, plugins that modify regions without direct support to certain permissions from plugins such as this and WorldGuard are at the mercy of grief. I will ask Peter, the developer of ToolBelt, to check for the modification permissions of WorldGuard and VoxelGuest.
I was wondering if the regions provide protection from the Destructive tools in VoxelDoop because the worldgaurd regions dont.
In voxeldoop could I use the VoxelGuest settings or not yet?
Is there a solution to fixing the destructiveness of the VoxelDoop like the jackhammer and others in protected regions?
I am Currently using the VoxelGuest plugin but have not tried to load VoxelDoop out of fear that my server will be totally griefed...
Alright, thanks for the info ^^
Yes, the documentation isn't written, but regions are working.
I have been wondering about that, does the region module have any function in VoxelGuest yet? I couldn't find any info about it, and there were no commands in plugin.yml for setting regions.
But having specific world and player settings in different regions sounds great though :)
I was actually thinking about moving some of the player and world protection into regions.
@psanker
I was mainly thinking of the world and player protection modules, but now I see the player module may be controlled by permissions.
You see, I have a survival world that is suppose to be all vanilla, but the main part of the server (all the other worlds) are creative.
As in functional in some worlds and not in others? I suppose if you add permissions per-world, it should work... Don't remember if I made the commands manager check for worlds or not.
Does the modules have multi-world support?
I understand if it doesn't, it is mainly meant for VB after all.
Would be great if it had though ;)
As soon as I release this, we'll get started on documentation.
Is there a commandlist available?
<<reply 593076>>
then we are together the first downloader ok??
Yes, module disabling will be added. Haven't gotten there yet.
Like I said, I put up beta releases on VoxelUpdate much more than I do on here. If you want to keep up, get VoxelUpdate.
@Galexrt
Oh fancy that, I am also the first to download ;) Downloads: 0
So for me a epic moment im the first downloade i'll test it on my home server and if this is out of beta i'll put this on my public server. One feature request: Please add an abillity to deactivate parts from the plugins like if i use grief prvention for region protection that i can deactivate the voxel guest region protection. i hope you understand(i'm german). If you want a german translation of the plugin send me a pn ;-)
Yes. But still throw caution to the winds: this is STILL in beta, as some features like permissions control and region protection have to be finalized. Furthermore, full documentation, with the full list of permission nodes for commands, building, etc., has yet to be written, too. I advise you to NOT set up your main servers with VoxelGuest 4 beta; test it out on test servers, so you get familiar with the features.
robux you are right its finally released!! Omg best moment in life. It's awesome.
:O unbelievable... it's actually going to be released! :D
