vote2kick

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Bukkit Plugin: vote2kickplugin.jar

Purpose:
Provide players a command to vote on kicking another player.
When a player issues the vote2kick command (with a yes) vote, this information is broadcast to all players.
When a majority of online players has voted to kick a player, the player is kicked from the server (not banned).
The displayed reason message for the kick includes the player names who voted to kick.

Syntax:
/vote2kick <playerName> <yes/no>

Examples:
To enter a vote to kick player NaughtyBoy:
  /vote2kick NaughtyBoy yes
To change  your vote from yes to no.
  /vote2kick NaughtyBoy no

Installation:
While the craftbukkit server process is stopped, copy the file vote2kickplugin.jar to the plugins folder under the server root folder.  Start the server.  The plugin name and version will display in the server output window.

Note:
This plugin is distributed under the GNU Public License and the source code is included in the jar.
