What is the enhancement in mind? How should it look and feel?
i suggested this in comments but i should have used a ticket i think, its pretty messy in the comments :P

the current walking on water effect uses 1 ice block which is a logical choice, but u tend to fall off it i propose you do what another plugin i used last year did, that is spawn a pad of 4 ice blocks
its not flawless but it does work a ot better, 2*2*1 2 in front of the player 2 under the player, walking backwards is not easy this way but like your meant to walk backwards on water right? haha
