Hey Bammerbom! Just wanted to say that your plugin is doing a VERY nice job filling in the void that Essentials is currently leaving us at my server. I left a few requests out in the tickets earlier and was wondering if you'd take a look at them.
Anyways, I also have a few of questions and concerns:
The current way of custom chat formatting is kind of difficult to work with for me. Despite having groups on, it seems to always choose to use the global formatting. I'm currently using bPermissions, which seems to be cooperating with the plugin alright because it's actually showing the individual player prefixes (I could not get suffixes to work). However, group prefixes do not seem to take effect, regardless if the player is in a group or not. I also could not get nicknames to show up in the tab list, but they appear to work fine in chat.
Thanks, I just believe that it would be more convenient for many others if this plugin filled all the holes Essentials had created and more (including myself)! I hope to see the exponential growth of this plugin in the future!
@Superfarva
Hello Superfarva.
I was already thinking about some kind of converter, but because you need it I will make this as soon as possible. You will see an update soon :)
Hello Bammerbom, I am here to ask a very simple yet important question. Before i do i must say it is very nice to see someone who isn't letting the BS going on with bukkit affect there progression in keeping mine-craft worth playing and going :P. I am a previous essentials user. As you most likely know they are most likely NOT going to be updating to a 1.8 version of their plugin. This is very distressing to me considering that my entire server has been based of of there plugin. I see you are keeping up with current patches and i am considering a switch to you. My question is that obviously all my players data is already been coded in with their plugin. Is there anyway to take the files from essentials and insert them into your plugins file base. So that when we make the switch to your plugin we wouldn't lose all homes,spawn, signs ect. Thank you very much for your time on this matter and sorry for the long post here i am just very concerned about my servers future.
I am doubting about which plugin APIs to support, so I created a poll.
Please vote :)
@xFoxOfMinecraft
Thank you guys all for your support :)
The v2.0.0 build will be released around new year (Maybe a bit later, I will see how everything takes out)!
I search testers that can help me testing v2.0.0 and fixing the latests bugs as soon as it is ready (Not yet)
How to become a tester?
Send me a PM including your Skype name.
What can I except of v2.0.0?
- Huge performance boost
- Tab completion :)
- Boss bar messages are removed and replaced by the action bar messages
- /tp console support
- Almost all messages are translatable
- API included, although the documentation will come later.
This plugin is better an Essentials! Love it
@Bammerbom
That's a good enough reason ;)
@Victhetiger
I got tired also, that is why I made this. :)
@Bammerbom
Thanks for making this, really appreciated. I kind off got tired to use Essentials.
@skittlenl
- Permissions for each warp is there.
uc.warp.WARPNAME for permission for 1 warp
uc.warp for permission for every warp.
- AFK protection from mobs will be added soon.
- Why would I save it with the name? UltimateCore doesn't support offline mode, so I have no problem with uuids.
Its missing a few important things like. Permissions for each warp. uc.warp.worldexample AFK protection from mobs/players MYSQL support ??? Users are saved in UID, be wise to save it with the name + uid instead. Dynmap support not working with the new 2.1 dynmap.
@ARTIKL
Sorry, I think I won't.
I will try it for you, but I dont think I will succeed :(
Altough in the X-mas holiday I have much time to work on it, so maybe :D
Hello! Please tell me that you will release UltimateCore v2.0.0 before 2015
Thank you all! We just passed 10000 downloads!
@superzyr
This is not yet included.
I will add this soon.
Economy?
UltimateCore build compitable with 1.8 spigot soon.
Edit: The bukkit API doesnt have some features like the depth strider enchantment.
Edit2: UltimateCore v1.1.0 is now waiting for aproval.
@UnwrittenPaper
I kinda agree.
But:
Essentials: Shit commands like /nuke etc.
And it has some new commands like /plugin.
@ARTIKL
I dont think it will be released soon. It is really much work and I am not halfway done.
Hello, Bammerbom! Are you done yet? Because I CAN'T WAIT!!!
