Torched
General Info
The idea is that someone can use /torched 10, and a 10x10 square around them will be torched such that no light level is below 9 (configurable later I guess). Also, it will not attempt to place torches on places they cannot be placed, which would result in a bunch of extra torch items being tossed onto the ground.
I'm fine with adding more features later so this can be used for a wide range of servers.
==== Current Bugs ====
- If server is restart, the remove command will not work (this is because the torches lose their metadata, which is what lets the plugin know they were created by the plugin and not placed by a player).
Oh! I figured it out. The plugin was made for 1.4.2, and i tried using it for 1.7. Can you try to update this plugin? It's a one of a kind, and its a GREAT idea!
For some reason, it doesnt work for me. I tried downloading it, and i downloaded it correctly, but when i try /torched 5 it doesnt work. It says "A internal error has occured while attempting to perform this command" What do i do?

That's quite alright, getting a new place is always an exciting time. You should enjoy it as much as you can, I'll gladly wait as long as needed. You should focus on getting setup a your new place before anything.
@Malkuno @AndyMcB1
Here's the new version without the debug messages, sorry about that lol
Also, I fixed the version number the plugin reports.
I'll probably be busy the whole spending what's left of my money on furniture for my new place, so I don't think I'll be able to do much today, but I'll try and look into some of these bugs and features when I'm free again :)
Alright so I've done a bit of testing with various block & I'll list the results here..
Torches pop off of the following blocks after being placed via the command, this create a bunch of dropped torchs.
Features!
If a half slab, don't place.
If ice, don't place.
Config to withdraw torches from inventory.
Check the output for when torches are removed.
Permissions.
Fix /help torched.
Love the plugin!
As with any mod/plugin at this early of a stage there will be bugs, as a result I crashed my server while playing around with it. Oops!! I probably should have waited until everyone had logged off, but I just had to give this a go at least once.. =)
So later tonight, once all my players log off, I'll play with it some more, that way I won't disrupt their progress & can bug test for awhile.
I'll probably be able to submit an in-depth bug report in the morning after I've had more time to mess around with this plugin.
Regardless, I appreciate you for picking this one up.. =)
It wouldnt bother me if you just stored all the Torches placed by your plugin a config that just lists their block locations
That would let you use remove after a restart..
Good Luck
