The New Economy
If you're looking for a lightweight economy plugin download The New Economy Lite.
Please Note: This project is in Alpha stage, and may therefore contain multiple bugs. Please report any bugs you find.
About
The New Economy was originally a hMod Plugin made by Noobaholic. After reading multiple requests on the Bukkit Forums for the plugin, which Noobaholic replied that he was too busy at the moment to port it to Bukkit, I decided to port it to Bukkit. The New Economy is a feature-packed economy plugin that is currently still under heavy development. I hope to provide a visual data editor for TNE flat file saves soon.

@creatorfromhell
I guess he means make it work side by side, but I think that's something outside the scope of this plugin. I would guess he wants the currency cross convertible, but that's just silly.
TNE would/should replace iConomy
@OceanCubes
What do you mean by "work with iConomy"? This is a standalone economy plugin.
Wait for W.I.P. Features!!!
Great plugin!
Can you make it work with IConomy?
@actionforgames
I'll switch /money to show the player's balance in Alpha 2.0.
Hi there, could you make that official commands "/money" would show player's currency without "balance" in command. People are used to "/money" only and if I would update current economy plugin to this one I would prefer players not get confused, thanks
Hello everyone. I just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone who has used/downloaded TheNewEconomy. We've hit the 300 marker and hopefully we can keep going as Alpha 2.0 will be released soon.
@digimbyte
I like the suggestions. Also, the mob configurations don't do anything yet. As for a reload configuration command I'll be adding one for Alpha Build 2.0. As for the bank size I could name it "rows" then it'd be how many rows of 9 you want.
@creatorfromhell
it seems to work is there a reload config command?
a suggestion tho, would have the mob config in a separate yml file. keeps things separate and organized. it would also be nice if it was configurable for other mobs that aren't in vanilla. not sure if its possible but Hexxit has new mobs and bosses like the Lich King and Hydra etc etc.
Anyway, Great plugin, I have a few suggestions for features that are needed, need to sign up for GitHub.
Oh, almost forgot, the 'size' setting for the bank, might be worth editing that so people put in a single number 1-4 or something and its multiplied by 9 in code. would make it nicer.
@digimbyte
Thanks, I'll check it out. Also, Alpha Build 2.0 should be out soon.
@creatorfromhell
Lol, handled like a Pro. @zekigames08 not everyone uses essentials. I don't. Commandbook is just so much nicer.
anyway, keep up the great work. testing 1.1 now, also wanted to mention if you haven't already known about an online yaml parser http://yaml-online-parser.appspot.com/ I use it to check my configs once and a while.
@zekigames08
Google translate isn't too good so....
¿Que dijiste?
@creatorfromhell
I use google translator
I do not speak groin
speak Spanish
@zekigames08
What do you mean?
but "essentials" and brings economy
@digimbyte
Hello! Thanks for reporting the error. I have fixed it and uploaded a new Alpha build(Alpha 1.1). Please try this build out and tell me how it works for you. File: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/tne/files/2-alpha-1-1/
Thanks for using TheNewEconomy,
creatorfromhell
@creatorfromhell
it gave me this interesting piece. interesting thing, it never generated the yml config
@digimbyte
Have you tried running it on a 1.5.2 server yet? I mean I could if you're unable to do so, but I thought I'd ask first.
@creatorfromhell
Do you plan to support 1.5.2? would you?
@digimbyte
It saves the economy data to a file currently located in the TheNewEconomy folder inside your plugins folder(economy.tne, but the name is configurable). I will be making a data file editor/viewer soon and I'll also be adding MySQL support in Alpha 2.0.
@creatorfromhell
I would love to have this for my 1.5.2 server Just curious, but how will it save player data? wondering if i can go in and edit it or transfer it from server to server
haven't tested alpha yet, but would like it confirmed.
