TimberMP
The timber mod exactly as you may know it from singleplayer has now been ported to multiplayer!
Discontinued for now.
Abilities with this Plugin
- Chop down all types of trees instantly
- Even big trees can be removed with a single break
- Intelligent tree recognition
- You can control in a config file wether you like the leaves to be removed or not
- No commands needed
- Play smoke effect when breaking logs
- Deal damage to the axe used to break the logs
- Can of course be disabled in the config
- Leaves don't do damage to the axe
- The axe won't deal damage in creative mode
- The unbreaking enchantment is taken into account
- The plugin will not chop down piles of wood while you are sneaking
- Auto-replant broken trees
- Source code inside jar file
- Will probably work with every future Bukkit build

any chance you can bring this to life and update it to 1.8?
Is this working on 1.7.2 ???
@Genrabbit
Sorry, this plugin is outdated, that latest version working known to me is 1.5.2 :/
@navbarry
Nope, sorry
How do I enable this in Permissionsbukkit?, the example is not working, nor is timbermp: true, nor many others attempt I've tried.
Awesome plugin :)
Is this still updating?
GP support wouldn't be that hard to implement
Hi,
This plugin works great! I am just wondering if I can disable the feature that breaks the tree all at once.
Thanks
Not exactly intelligent since it breaks houses that have collum log pillars.
I know a couple people have already said this, but I want to echo the importance of supporting GriefPrevention. I, and many others, would love if you could add support for it! :) As I see someone else mentioned, I use GP for my players and WorldGuard for staff. It would be very nice for players to be able to protect trees from others while using GP.
please griefprevention support!
also permissions dont seem to be making a difference, everyone can use the mod. permissions is true in the config
@McSebi96
I use both plugins, but it's my players who use GriefPrevention whilst staff use WorldGuard. GP seems to be easier for my players to understand, plus it's a better plugin for personal region claims in my opinion, whilst WG is a better plugin for public, large region flagging purposes.
In any case, it would have been nice to get it to recognize GP so that players wouldn't have to worry about their trees getting ruined, but I understand how tough it is to support API like that so I appreciate you looking into it at least. WG support is also great to have at the very least. Thanks for the plugin!
@KeksiLAP
Do you really want your users to be able to rise 5 levels by just mining one tree? What will happen when ppl find that out..
Please support the jobs Plugin.
@McSebi96
Well, it broke my whole house and there were no leaves arround the house...
@therealspoljo
If there is a leave block on top of the highest stem block the whole thing is recognized as a tree and it will also try to destroy surrounding log blocks. If there is no leave, only the logs above the mined block will be destroyed. Just a little hint ;)
@Swords761
I don't think I'll release an update supporting GriefPrevention in near future. What feature of GriefPrevention do you use, that isn't supported by WorldGuard, which is a really awesome plugin in my opinion?
@therealspoljo
I'm really sorry for that :/ But there is no way i can implement such a feature in an efficient way. The only thing that could help is, that you sneak while breaking logs.
@POTATOXD
If you wonder about the config file, see http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/timber-mp/pages/config-yml/ :) I may make a setup tutorial in near feature.
It doesnt respect user placed blocks :/ Can you fix that please? Because I built a house with logs and I accidentally destroyed the whole house... *facepalm*. Thank you :)
Hey would there be anyway their could be an english setup video it would really help thanks
