TheMaze
TheMaze is plugin to allow server admins to create random maze's with only one path through the maze. Admins can do just about any thing they want to do with, have a race to see you can get out in the fastest time, fill it with mob's and see who can survive and find there way out, fill it with traps and chests, you can you Redstone Circuits to move the exit around making it hard to get out of the maze, Add rooms with cheats and use Redstone Circuits to close off the rooms as times goes by so the faster players can find rooms the more stuff they can get.
you must be an admin or op to run command. just load the plugin and type /maze. it will create a 51X51 maze. one maze block = 4 minecraft blocks so it size in the world will be 102X102. the maze will be created at the spot where you type the command as the center point of the maze
NOTE: for version 1.0+ you still need to be admin or op
Commands:
/maze: displayed settings
/mazecommand : displayed all commands
/mazecreate: create a random maze (this will create the maze only it does not place it in the world)
/mazeplace: this will place the maze in the world (this will place the maze create with the /mazecreat command in the world running this command more the one time will only change the location of the glowstone if you want a new maz run the /mazecrate command
/mazeglow: toggle glowstone on/off
/mazeroof: toggle roof on/off (not when off this will place air where the roof will go)
/mazelevel: toggle number of floors from 1 to 2
/mazroofid: set the block type for roof
/mazewallif: set block type for walls
/mazefloorid: set block type for floor
NOTE: there is no undo in this version so only use it on a test world as all block with in the 102X102X4 will be change.

Very nice!
Is there a way to undo the creation of a maze (I.E. /maze undo)?
This plugin doesn't work nearly as nicely as MineMaze used to: http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/edit-fun-minemaze-v1-6-generate-mazes-with-worldedit-2117.33173/ too bad, MineMaze doesn't work with the latest version of WorldEdit. :/
It IS open source though, you could continue development if you wanted.
i dont like this plugin cause theres no directions on how to use had a map and then created maze and destroyed all my hard work
Thank you
try going from the open door on one side of the maze to the other side. i did this maze in another game and it took some one 2 hours to get out
i just tryed it, spent 20 min and still didnt get threw to the middle. Nice plugin.
multi-level is working just 2 floors for now
@bigscary
WorldEdit+WorldGuard will solve most of these, with the exception of the multi-level maze parameter.
@bigscary
i do plan on an option for a roof as well has the height of the maze also option's to make then floor,walls and roof different types of block. still not sure if i will do this with commands or config file.
i did not think about more then one floor for this i tried in another program but it did not work so well. it may work here,
and the tress are not the only thing if there is Gravel above it it will fall into the maze.
Very cool idea! Some feedback.
When created in a forest, the tops of the trees are left, which is weird because they're either floating in the air or rooted in stone. Can you automatically remove tree and leaf blocks above the maze after placing it?
When I'm flying in the air, if I use /maze, I get a maze in the air. That's a little weird.
I stood on top of my maze and used /maze to generate a two-level maze (I'd have to add ladders myself, but was very excited about this concept). However the first floor was a little squished. Can you make an adjustment so that when I stack mazes this way, all floors still have a block of head room? OR even better, can I get a parameter for # of floors, where you automatically add the multiple floors and connecting ladders?
Can I get the option for my maze to have a roof, so that monsters will spawn inside? /maze roof
Will you please mark the center maze floor block so that I can stand in the right place to re-generate the maze after players have solved it?
Looks like any player could easily ruin the maze by cutting through a wall or adding a wall in a spot where it makes the maze unsolvable. Can you add an option to prevent breaking and building blocks inside the maze (except for admins of course). You can borrow the event cancelling code for block build and break from my addon's repository (name = PopulationDensity).
