Anti Griefing? How?
As soon as a player breaks a block of higher value such as a diamond, gold or iron block, SpyGlass will send a message to all online OPs that a certain block as been broken by the given player.
Anti-Xray? How?
Whenever an ore of higher value such as diamond, gold or iron has been broken, SpyGlass will inform all online OPs about this incident. Whenever SpyGlass shows up multiple times in cases like "<Player> broke Diamond_Ore", your online staff might want to check if the given player is not hacking to get an advantage.
Will theplayer be informed as well?
No, SpyGlass is currently only available for OPs. The dev team is, however, working on an update which will include the following:
- Making SpyGlass accessible for ranks, not only OPs.
- Making SpyGlass toggle-able in case it spams chat on busy servers.
Already available in version 1.1.3:
- Notifying staff and denying the placement of certain blocks when they are placed in creative.
Known Bugs:
- Messages being sent to ALL online players. To bypass this bug please download version 1.1.3
- Newest Version 1.1.9: Fixed all previous bugs from 1.1.5 *

Posted Jul 30, 2012@j6ny I am currently working on version 1.2 that allows to adjust almost everything. Tracked blocks as well as banned blocks. It should be released in a day or two. :)
Also the newest version 1.1.9 is currently pending approval, I managed to fix all bugs from 1.1.5.
Edit: I will wait with my update until the bukkit 1.3 build is released. Until then I will try to improve SpyGlass here and there

Posted Jul 30, 2012Could you make the blocks that it broadcasts to ops configurable? for example if i had a server where you could buy sponge, could you make it so i could config it so it broadcasts that as well? thanx ;)

It will show up ores but ONLY for OPs so chat spam isn't really an issue

Posted Jul 26, 2012So every time a player mines iron, diamond, gold blocks? Blocks not ores? If it was ores I'd know from experience that the chat would be spammed, if it was blocks, that is a different matter :P
