SpellBound

Transfer tool or armor enchantment to book using an anvil. Tested in 1.9. Command-less and configuration-less.

GUI view

Usage

Place book in left crafting slot. Place enchanted armor or tool in right crafting slot. If you have a sufficient experience level to cover repair cost of the armor or tool, an enchanted book containing the enchantment of the tool or armor will be presented in the result slot. When you take from the result slot, the repair cost is deducted from your experience level, and one book and the tool or armor are consumed.

Caveats

There appears to be some unfinished business in the Bukkit API for the Anvil GUI. The name field and message line below the result slot is not accessible.
