SlimefunOres
Recently, I've noticed that lots of players who have been playing on servers with Slimefun were having trouble getting dusts to make alloys, since using a washer is the only way of getting them. Now with SlimefunOres, you can get dusts by breaking ores!
CS-CoreLib and Slimefun must be installed for this plugin to work!
By breaking ores you can get:
- Iron Dust
- Gold Dust
- Aluminum Dust
- Zinc Dust
- Tin Dust
- Copper Dust
- Magnesium Dust
- Lead Dust
- Silver Dust
- Tiny Piles of Uranium (Only available from diamond and emerald ore)

Old & New Algorithm
From version 1.4, I added a new choosing algorithm because the liast one wasn't completely random. Basically, the old algorithm had an order going on like this (most common on left): Iron Dust > Gold Dust > Aluminum Dust > Copper Dust > Zinc Dust > Tin Dust > Magnesium Dust > Lead Dust > Silver Dust. This means that the iron dust and gold dust would be the most common to get, lead and silver the rarest. The new algorithm is completely random, which means that each dust has an equal chance of getting chosen.
You can only get dusts if the ore you break hasn't been placed down and has been naturally generated.
Example Config
options: auto-update: true //Enable this if you want the plugin to get auto updated. old-algorithm: false //Enable this if you want to use the old dust choosing algorithm. coal_ore: overall_chance: 25 //This is the chance in percentage. It means that when you break a block there is a 25% that you will get a dust gold_dust: true aluminum_dust: true zinc_dust: true tin_dust: true copper_dust: true magnesium_dust: true lead_dust: true silver_dust: true iron_ore: overall_chance: 25 gold_dust: true aluminum_dust: true zinc_dust: true tin_dust: true copper_dust: true magnesium_dust: true lead_dust: true silver_dust: true gold_ore: overall_chance: 25 gold_dust: true aluminum_dust: true zinc_dust: true tin_dust: true copper_dust: true magnesium_dust: true lead_dust: true silver_dust: true diamond_ore: overall_chance: 25 gold_dust: true aluminum_dust: true zinc_dust: true tin_dust: true copper_dust: true magnesium_dust: true lead_dust: true silver_dust: true tiny_uranium: false //Disabled by default. emerald_ore: overall_chance: 25 gold_dust: true aluminum_dust: true zinc_dust: true tin_dust: true copper_dust: true magnesium_dust: true lead_dust: true silver_dust: true tiny_uranium: false //Disabled by default.
This plugin does not have any commands or permissions. The only thing you may want to edit is the config.yml file.
Auto-Updater and Metrics
All my Plugins are using an Auto-Updater to make sure, you're always using the latest and hopefully most bug free version of my Plugin. If you don't want this Plugin to be auto-updated, you can turn it off in the config file at "options -> auto-update: true/false"
They also use a Metrics-System which collects the following Information:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
- Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.
Using this on 1.15.2 with slimefun4.

work with explozive pickaxe ?
I've just tested this with Spigot 1.14.4, with up to date CS-CoreLib and SlimeFun, as well as several other addons. This plugin *is* working, with caveats. The statement about the ores having a requirement of having been naturally generated is (now) false. Players are able to mine gold and iron ores, place them down, and mine them again to attain additional SlimeFun dusts.
I personally like this behavior and hope it does not get a hard patch. I could see, if someone were to update this, for there to be a toggle. I highly doubt this will be updated however, as it has been over 3 years since @john000708 has updated this resource.
Pls update to 1.12.2
Pls, update to 1.13+
This is a very nice lightning fast addon for Slimefun.
Admins?
May I suggest you give your members at least the
essentials.enderchest or a /pv 1 or /backpack to help
deal with the additional dusts many. While you dont get
an OP amount you do get alot of different types. It hogs
inventory slots, especially after mining for some time.
/Worth it?
Got Essentials? Can players sell all/hand?
/setworth 353 -1#sugar
/setworth 348 -1#glowstone
/setworth 289 -1#gun powder
/setworth 265 -1#iron ingot
/setworth 266 -1#gold ingot
(Or edit /essentials/worths.yml manually, save, /ess reload)
So they dont /sell all the dusts/bars ect.
Just make an admin shop accepting the items for
the old /worth if there even was any. :D
Miners gonna love it, and your consideration.
Almost 10,000 Downloads / month. GG!
I have no suggestions to improve this, perfect as it is.

My 1.10 seriously detailed EssentialsX worth list.
as JUST an example. Eco based ranks?
Simply add a few 0's to the amount players need to rank
up if you think my values make it easy.
Then it's just the same as yours. More importantly?
For miners to really enjoy this rather than it annoying them
makes sure to provide storage or say a silk touch pick on join
so they can make 2 ender chests quick like. (they will.)
@Liger_XT5
Yup, you will always get the Ore you mined no matter what, but besides that, a piece of dust might drop on its location.
To clarify, the dust is included with the ore, not just replace it when the chance hits?
This is epic! I will make you free art for this. Explanation: I make free art for the plugins I approve :3 just tell me if you want to see some examples of my work.
@Knucklesfan
Of course I will, it won't take that long to update it either.
Will you update this to slimefun 4 in april?
