This is a very lightweight and simple plugin that allows everyone without the simplesigncolor.use permission to use Minecraft color codes on signs, using the standard & symbol followed by the color code. I created this specifically for my server as I required the most lightweight and simple plugin possible to do this.
What makes this different from other plugins that may do the same thing?
This is very lightweight - less than 24 lines of code. It will not break with Bukkit/Minecraft updates for the foreseeable future. Don't worry if it hasn't been updated for a long time - it still works! It does not need to be updated if future Minecraft versions add new color/formatting codes.
You can find a list of all possible color and formatting codes here:
- simplesigncolor.use: Players with this permission are allowed to use color codes on signs.
This plugin uses Metrics to collect stats such as plugin version, server version, and players online. If you want to see everything collected, visit our Metrics page. Edit /plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml to disable the anonymous data collection.
This plugin also includes an auto updater which can be disabled in the configuration.
