SimpleRP
SimpleRP is a plugin who introduce in a simple way some RP features for your server. It depends on SpoutPlugin (SpoutCraft client for the players) and Citizens2.
Features :
- A simple evolving market Economy ( prices vary depending on supply and demand)
- Four traits for citizens2
- PurseTrader : Gives the ability to buy and sell items of the npc inventory with a SpoutPlugin GUI
- SaveInventory : If you don't already have a method for save the npc inventories after server shutdown (usefull with the pursetrader trait)
- Teleporter : Gives the ability to teleport your players through a network of locations, with a price proportional to the distance
- Voice : Gives the ability to randomly speak (play a short sound) when a player interact. More realistic on a pursetrader or a teleporter
- A darkness and rank system. Your players will fight against the evil forces and increase their score to obtain rank (like "Killer" or "Knight"). The darkness effects (if the players don't fight, when the darkness progression increase with the time) are a reduction of the day time, and an increase of the mobs and thundering probabilities.
- A basic music area system. Play a music when a player enters into an area.

If you search a plugin for skining your npcs, I personnaly use SimpleSkins Reloaded, a good plugin in my opinion.

Someone reported to me the same bug. It's about Citizens but probably related to SimpleRP. Please copy here or send me your Citizens yml files and the version, I will look what is the problem.

Just for the economy SpoutPlugin is very useful for the GUI system. And all the other features need it for the custom sounds effects. I have made this plugin for fun and for a new perception of the game. SpoutPlugin is easy to use but, yes, it requires an investment from the players.

I added "enabled" boolean value in the darkness configuration section. But I will soon separate the darkness and the ranking system, I think.

I don't think I'll be using the rank/darkness system at the start, sadly. I'm mainly using this for the unique looking GUI.

SpoutPlugin is definitely worth it, I am very disappointed that it isn't more widely used.

Happy to read it. You can set the "increase_darkness_per_hour" to 0.0, but I can add an "enabled" option if you don't want the darkness and rank informations displayed.
