Sign Warper
SignWarper allows players to place signs to teleport between them by simply right clicking on them.
By default, teleports have a cost of one ender pearl which must be in the players hand while interacting with the sign, but it can also be disabled in the configuration.
Permissions
SignWarper knows the following permissions:
signwarper.create
- Allow to create and destroy warp signs (Default: op)signwarper.use
- Allow to use warp signs (Default: everyone)signwarper.*
- Allow access to all features (Default: op)
How to use it?
First, place a sign at the location you want to warp to with the following content:
- First line:
[WarpTarget]
- Second line: The name you want to use
This will create a warp target sign which defines the location a player is getting warped to.
After creating the warp target sign, create one or more warp signs from which you want to be able to warp to the target sign. This is done by placing a sign with the following content:
- First line:
[Warp]
- Second line: The same name as used on the warp target sign
Note: The warp target sign must exist before creating a warp sign!
Once you've created both signs, you are able to right click with the use-item
in your hand (defaults to ender pearl). Each warp will cost the number of items configured in use-cost
(defaults to 1).
You can remove the use-item
option in the config.yml or set it to "none" to allow any item to be used without actually using the item (i.e. each warp is free to use).
My other plugins
You can find them on my website.
Sadly this doesn't seem to work on 1.19.3. I've set up [WarpTarget] signs first and then set [Warp] ones but using the item I set lapis_lazuli does nothing. Could you please update it?
Hi I have a question: how do I change the permissions for this plugin? It works really well but I want all users to be able to make/break warps. Thanks!

To whom it may concern, I figured this out shortly after I wrote this comment. All you have to do look inside the jar file. I'm on Linux but if you're on Windows you could probably use 7Zip or WinRAR. Then change the values in plugin.yml to "true."
Hey i have the plugin installed and warps are free to use but you need to click the [warp] sign with an enderpearl for the first teleport is there a way to change this so its not needed
Hey, for some reason i cant use the warp sign multiple times? i cant go back and fourth to the location when testing it out

Hi, sorry for the late reply. For some reason, I didn't got any notification about your comment.
A warp target sign can only exists once. Otherwise, the plugin would not know which warp target is actually meant.
If you want to define warps in both directions, just create an additionally warp target sign with a different name and place the warp sign at the location of the other warp target sign.
Of course, I could also enhance the plugin to allow players to teleport in both directions, but in that case, the can't allow to place more that two signs per warp name. If you need such a feature, I could implement it in my plugin.
Realy Nice Plugin i use it on my server its easy and Realy NICE Thx allot :D
