ServerManager
ServerManager
ServerManager is a social network for your server, thats the easiest way to describe its functionality. It is made to connect your server with the web more efficiently. For example, we connect the online and ingame chat together, so you can write with your friends, too. Additionally, you can upload your items to the web, and give it to your friends, or even sell it right in your browser.
Features
- Player list
- Statistics (global or individual for each player)
- Dashboard
- Chat (same as ingame)
- Shop
- Private Messages
- Friendlist
Download
I am currently working on the first beta release, so I won't recommend to download the current release, as there may be heavy bugs and incomplete features. Nevertheless, I'm pretty sure to release the plugin and the web panel in july. For everybody that still want's to download it, this is the repository.
Hows it going?
@to175
Thats not easy to say, I plan to release a beta in july. I am working nearly every day on it, but there can always happen unexpected things. If you want to download it, even if it is experimental, go here: Link. If you want to download the version, I am currently working on, switch to 'laravel4' branch.
PS: There is just such of a 'unexpected thing': I need to port the entire web panel from CodeIgniter to Laravel 4.
To get informed about any changes I make, or versions I release, watch the repository at github!
Kind regards, hice3000.
sososososososo impatient :O please when will we have first version??
thanks
SO impatienttt!!! :D
@TheBobbycarRacer
I'm sorry, but this would not be implementable, because you would have to register ingame to access the web panel.
Would be nice if you could kinda link the whitelist to the homepage, so you have to register on the homepage to get whitelisted on the server or something like that. I really look forward to see that plugin on many servers...
@davdav001
I created a tutorial how to add/edit translations here.
@lpswheatley
The user will be able to just type in "/register <email>" and then get's an activation mail, so it isnt very complicated.I already thinked about a minecraft credentials verification, but you cant trust the server admin, if he mods the code and saves your password. I dont consider how it works on servers that are open for cracked users, because it is simply not feasable. About the compatibility: I just can define permissions and work with Vault like every other plugin, too.
I Would like to add a German translation, Looks really Nice ;)) But i dont know Java so well, Maybe i could just change the Messages in a yml file?
I think there might be a problem...first of all they need to ACTUALLY make an account on the server website and of course provide all of the credentials for your minecraft account so a user cannot just make an account and act like the owner/admin and get themselves Opped and grief the server, it needs to be compatible with permissions(and maybe add an GUI for the BuyCraft plugin)
Looks cool, good luck on getting coders!
