ShowCaseStandalone is like ShowCase but without the dependancies, and a more efficient way to create shops. With SCS, you can buy, sell, and display items, which float above blocks. You can use most of the major economy and permissions plugins with this, along with some special options for Towny.
Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server. These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.

Metric
This plugin utilises Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

Your secound issue should mostly be solved with build 28. If my plugin does not have the time to remove the items on, chunk unload (like on stoping server) they will be spawned by the server again - since build 28 I reuse them - if they allready exists but does not work allways

hum no i didn't.
the world name is the same.
I can create shops in other worlds without issues but on restart i allays get the same issues in the log file outlined on my post below. Using in the default world i have no issue's with with shops restoring after a restart.
Im also getting problems where items floating above shops get multiplied so 4 shops 2 sell, 2 buy shops would drop 20 blocks on server restart. (We are working on addon's to see if we can narrow this down)

I should... did you change the worldname? is this the onliest shop in the world or the onliest shop which does not work?

Because some people wanted to use it without any economy system... but it just make problems, may got an idea for a workaround...

It doesn't hook into Iconomy 6 for me.
This is a fresh install with only Iconomy 6, permissions 3.x and your plugin. Why do you have the dummy economy system, i mean. if everybody have unlimited money, why ever use this? :S

okay - i don't understand, tested it now with iConomy 6 - also works fine by me. If there is no "Hooked into iConomy6" or 5 for iConomy 5, it uses a dummy economy system where everyone have unlimit money, thinking about to remove this again?
Which plugins are you using? This one I used for the iConomy6 test-server
Regarding iconomy 5/6 issue... "Does both sides (seller and buyer) get/earn no money?" No money is transferred at all. It doesn't alter iconomy at all.

A config file would be nice, with the ability to restrict shops to being placed on certain blocks. For example I'd like to set up server shops with this, and I don't want to come back in an hour and see shops on every single block nearby.
For example, something simple like:
Where the number before the colon is the Id and after the colon is the data value, so you could restrict it to only smoothstone slabs, for example.
@footwo this means that it cannot open the file, i noticed that this could also happen if there is no shop... what happens if you create a shop an restart the server - do you get the message again?

iConomy problem: I can't understand your problems (iConomy5) because its working well on my server, I want to help you, but I don't know how :(
do you find anywhere in the serverlog something like "date [ShowCaseStl] hooked in iConomy5/6" ?
Does both sides (seller and buyer) get/earn no money?
Any possibility of having an option between your way of creating shops and the old way?

The current way of setting up shops is way better than the original showcase plugin. I don't care if I have to teach some people the commands, I got a website for that. I don't have to put everything on slabs.
I'm having the same problem that a lot of people here seem to be having. Your mod isn't actually interacting with iconomy at all. No funds are given or taken during a transaction. I've tried running different builds of this mod and I've tried running different versions of iconomy. None of it has worked. It's a great mod, real user friendly and looks great. But until I get that figured out, it's completely useless to me. Is there some sort of configuration I'm missing out on? The "cfg" file only seems to contain shop information. Should there be more than one file in the mod plugin folder? Other than backups of that file. I'm new to iconomy, but I'm having no troubles getting other plugins, as well other shop plugins, to work with iconomy 5.

Nevermind! Fixed it! :D Thank you, its and amazing mod, ive found a bug, when you try to sell charcoal, your not able, it doesnt reconize it. so you have to sell it as coal.. fix that in next release please! :D

you cant use the minecraft console for my plugin,
it has to be a player.

Just wanted to say I love this store, here is my problem and it has been mentioned before, just never found an answer for issue. Now have had to shut my store. Everything sets up great and you can use the store to buy and sell.
BIG PROBLEM: The store does not take funds from USER. They can just buy and buy.
SECONDARY: When the server resets, the store will have two items spawn on each platform and you can just pick up item by walking over/passing by it.
Please help with any insight. Using ICONOMY 6
