Connections and data collection
Metrics
This plugin uses the Plugin Metrics stats tracking.
This can be disabled in the config by setting metrics to false.
Update
The other way of collecting data is for the update system.
This is done by reading the RSS feed from the DevBukkit page, linked here
UUID
And since the last version the connections to Mojang's servers for the UUID collection.
For a secure means of storing data per user, the UUID collection isn't toggleable (yet), and only available in the alpha version.
Your server would be at risk due to people changing their names, and the plugin not keeping up with those names.
- Anymore information of Metrics can be found here
- You can see the stats over here
- For more information about UUID's, click this this MinecraftForum link.
Donating
If you like this plugin consider Donating
did you update it?
Very small functional plugin do like AuthMe, but not to get too much garbage.
Thanks very much :D. edit: if you can , Make sure that you can only write /login and /register after /login.
OK ill do that for the next update
@teunie75 ehm, if i start my server in offline/insecure mode, another player can log in with "BlackHoleXD" and write /op hisname. If you can block chat too i will love your plugin.
@BlackHoleXD
Do you want that blocked too? I can do that for you if you want ;)
ehm.... all my players can't move but can send /commands .... and they can use chat..
@ggianguilli
I tested the plugin with the Recommended build of 1.5.2 and that worked fine.
Do you have an older version for MC v1.5.2 0.0
@LetsFailerHD
It's already in the description for installation
Sry
Can you Do it in the descripstion pls
@LetsFailerHD
You forget to extract the lib folder, that should go in the plugins folder. So you will have this in your plugin folder: plugins/lib plugins/Safe login.jar
The lib folder contains jar files for the email function.
Here is a German Tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-BnepYOV9dU&feature=youtu.be
@thejackstur
I used a Gmail account for this, I'll try to get it working with Hotmail.
@teunie75
what email did you use i was using a live account [email protected]
@thejackstur
I tried it too, and it didn't work for me. I'm still trying to make it works though.
I just put it on the files so if anyone was able to use it, they could.
Does the Email Feature work i cant get it working if you could get back to me that word be really good
@teunie75
Nothing special. It works for me too, but with Exception in logs.
You logged into the game (connecting to server) -> raising exception (only in logs) -> you trying to use /login command -> you can play.
That's all. Thank you for quick answer ;)
@mikachiari
I tried it myself, it did work for me. I did something that might resolve it.
Was something going on while you where logging in?
@DebenOldert
Can you post the error, or else I don't know what went wrong.
