Before Installation

If this is the first time you are running version 4.0+, please backup and remove/delete the S86 Powers folder in your server's plugin folder.

Important Info

Version 4.0 introduces the new power-loading system. This means powers are now loaded externally rather than having to be implemented internally. To aide in the transition, the external power pack will be included with the core plugin for the first few revisions. All that is required is for you to extract the zip file directly into your server's plugins folder. This will automatically put the power pack where it needs to be.

Regions

Regions have finally been reimplimented, and now no longer require WorldGuard! Use the command /powers help region for info on the new commands. Note: Regions created in previous versions will be incompatible.

Power Users

The plugin now uses a dedicated class to track users of powers. This will make power creation easier for developers, but the real payoff is exponentially lower memory usage for servers.

Database Overhaul

Almost all of the database-related functions are now handled locally rather than constantly reading from config files. This should increase performance for servers with adequate memory.
