Overview

ArathosRPG is a RPG based plugin to provide many upgrades to your server.

Installation:

Download and install Vault (1.6 used for development)
Download ArathosRPG and place it inside your Plugins Folder

Commands & Permission

rpgAdds aused /rpg item load <itemname>rpg.item.loadLoads the defined item to your hand

Commands	Permissions	Description
/rpg item create <materialId> <customName> <lore1> <lore2> <lore3> <lore4>	rpg.item.create	Creates a new item with the specified lore and displayname. Other than material id's you can use material names too. (To use spaces in names or lores you need to use "_" it will be replaced with a space) Colors are supported!
/rpg item rename <newName>	rpg.item.rename	Add/Change the name of the item your holding. (To use spaces in names or lores you need to use "_" it will be replaced with a space) Colors are supported!
/rpg duplicate <amount>	rpg.item.duplicate	Duplicates the item you are holding.
/rpg item save	rpg.item.save	Saves the item your holding to a file, so you can easily edit it later on or save customized item to load it later. As filename the displayname of the item is used
/rpg item load <itemname>	rpg.item.load	Loads the defined item to your hand
/rpg item lore add	rpg.item.lore.add	Changes the lore of the item ur currently Holding.

Its been 4 years since the last update of ArathosRPG. I rewrote everything so you have to delete all files when updating to 1.12

Sorry Guys,

this plugin was some fun for me at the end before my studying started.

Now after quiet 5 years and a lot of work im playing minecraft again. This plugin will be updated within 1 week (to 1.12.2 spigot). Since im now a bit updated on the currently running plugins, some things have to be mentioned:

Heroes Support will be deleted, sorry guys im not using heroes anymore since i dont have a server. Im not earning any Money with this plugin and i dont want to, so i wont buy a plugin for 20$ to test the api

HoloAPI will be removed. I used this plugins api to create my hit holograms. This plugin is as outdated as ArathosRPG. I researched the Spigot API and will add my own Holograms for the Value visualization.

Today i just finished the update to 1.12. I wrote a new Plugin and reduced the used Code to about 70%. I optimized the little codebase. Now the testing will begin.

Now will be the time to think where this plugin should go.

You can help me with it!

Ideas:

Import/Export of Items to a File

Add more Attributes (Give me Ideas)

Adding stats for Players with custom XP and Level. This will include things like stats that will modify the attributes of a player like strengh could give you a little bit of health and damage

I will add classes and races , also ArathosRPG will have a new API to create own attributes via Java.

I tried this plugin,.

core attributes work but level requirement seems to be not working. Heroes attributes also doesn't work also in-compatible with 1.8,. it gives off errors,. would be cool if it updates

I knew about Spigot but i've never used it.<br \> I will look at the difference between 1.8 and 1.7.10.<br \> If a hook for both versions wont need too much maintenance. I will insert support for both versions.<br \>

I'm guessing you don't know about Spigot then? Pretty much the optimised version of Bukkit, which is still going strong and is also updating craftbukkit without the code that Wolf used.

Please at least update the plugin to 1.7.10? Or at least send me a version with the classes as I could really do with this plugin on my server, it just needs a classes/permissions feature.

I'am not saying that "Minecraft is dead". I dont play minecraft by myself anymore so the only thing i care about is the community i want to write plugins for. If there is noone i dont have to develop a plugin that wont be used by anyone. I heard that spout is still active by today. I'm developing ArathosRPG with a lot of new features just by now for Spout version(1.8). I dont think Minecraft is dead. I just want a "living" community i can code for. Because i love to programm plugins. Now that i have to work with java a lot on work im just as known with java as i am with c"+"+" . I love to include some nice into ArathosRPG ;) it will be a own rpg class system

Ech... An another guy who can't read anything well. I'm sure you didn't heard about Spigot (which IS ready for plugin development). If you don't want it - use Glowstone. Also, what's wrong that Bukkit is down? You can still download backup versions and use it. Some players are stupid and says "Minecraft multiplayer's end" but it's simply NOT true. Don't be like them.

Sorry guys but since bukkit is down i dont feel like it is worth to update this plugin.

I allready searched for some alternatives for bukkit but unfortunately none are finished for developing some plugins. I would love to code again since i have a lot of time now, but there are no alternatives "finished".

Can this be updated to be able to use permissions/classes?! Would really love to see this work on my server, I just need the classes lore! ItemLoreStats doesn't work on 1.7.10 but this does!

I cannot get this on my server. It ignores the plugin. Same for some other plugins as well... Any help would be appreciated. :)

Thank you for replying I was wondering for a while what the command was, I have one more question I did the command u told me and it worked fine and the text is being shown fully but when holding the item I don't gain the extra hp when i do /hp it just shows the default of 30hp. Once again any help is appreciated
