Regios
Current stable version: v5.9.9 for CB 1.6.2-R0.1
Regios, a fully fledged, extensive and extendible Region mod. Regios allows you to easily create regions with a vast amount of properties such as protection, entry & exit control, password protection, speed and health modifiers and much more! Regios is multi-world compatible and lightweight. More so Regios is open source and has a well documented API which will allow other developers to make add-ons to make Regios even better!
NOTE: Regios v5.0.3 and later now REQUIRES Vault for Economy and/or Permissions support. You can still use Regios without Vault but it will be Op or basic superperms only and without economy support.
Do you use Dynmap? Ever wanted to see your Regios regions on Dynmap? Well now you can! Try the new Dynmap-Regios!
Some of the main features of Regios are:
- Complete Region protection.
- Spout GUI editor!
- Permissions and group modification in real-time, force commands and inventory options.
- Prevent exit or entry with password authentication.
- Transfer structures/regions from server to server with new Blueprint (*.blp) files!
- Backup your Regions and restore them to their former states. (Now includes container contents and sign text!)
- API access.
- Fun features such as health control, pvp settings and speed modifiers.
- Per world configurations.
- Default Region settings.
- Simple flat file storage allows for manual editing if needed.
- Universal Economy/Permission support through Vault
- WorldEdit Support

Great to hear! That's some kind of Windows security feature to prevent viruses or something. Usually its associated with downloaded exe's, but can also extend to container files like jars and zips. Windows blocks it out so that it seems like its not there to most programs, which would explain why craftbukkit didn't see it. You saying you were on Win 7 Home Premium made me think of it. lol. I'll have to try to remember that quicker next time. :P
@johnnyzerox7
yep there was a button to unblock.
So that must of been the problem!
Never saw that button before in the properties of a file before.
@IdealIdeas
That comment was actually meant for @DQone :P
Question though, if you right click the Regios.jar and click Properties, is there a button called Unblock in the bottom right hand corner?
it work for me with no porblems your r the best johnnyzerox7
@johnnyzerox7
/regios set (never used it as /r set) wasnt working.
Ive had regios a long time I know basically all the commands whether its making regions buyable to whether i want people to lose their inventory when they step into a specific area.
@johnnyzerox7
Windows 7 Home Premium, server version is the current most updated build they have (1.2.4 recommended R0)
My plugin list Is kinda long...
Authme, chair craft, chest shop, vault, citizens, color me, disposal chest, essentials, iconomy, jail, lockette, mob disguise, monsterbox, nift warp, nolagg, nolagg chunks, nolagg item stacker, nolagg lighting, nolaggtnt, nomorerollback, permissions bukkit, regios, sign lift, slap, spectate, supply sign, world edit
@IdealIdeas
Could you PM me a list of your plugins, your server version and the OS your server is running on? I want to try to mimic your server environment so I can try to figure this out.
@DQone
Are you using /r set before trying to select your points? Worldedit shouldn't interfere with Regios region selection, I use the default wood axe for both on my own server.
@johnnyzerox7
Im 100% sure its the right folder its set to. I have taken away other plugins and they didnt load when I did.
Hi, I am unable to create regions. I have tried setting the select tool to wooden sword incase worldedit was interfering but I still cannot select anything. Regios loads fine in the console and I get no errors.
@IdealIdeas
Well, I'm at a loss. The only reasons I can think that Bukkit wouldn't load Regios at all would be if it is not in the plugins folder, or if you had some kind of plugin that altered how Bukkit loads plugins. Loading and failing is one thing, but not loading at all? Are you 100% sure that Craftbukkit is loading in the folder you think its loading in? If you take away/add another plugin from the same folder that Regios.jar is in does it disappear/appear on your server?
@johnnyzerox7
mine came directly as a jar file.
@IdealIdeas
Yes, this works perfectly fine with my 1.2.4 server.
@IdealIdeas
It didn't download as Regios.zip did it? Some browsers will change the .jar extension sometimes.
@johnnyzerox7
I took my time to look through all of it and I dont even see it load on the command window. But I can clearly see the regios jar file is in same folder as the rest of the plugins I use.
Why is it not seeing regios? i know for a fact its the most up to date version as I downloaded it like 2 days ago.
@IdealIdeas
And I take it there are no errors in the server log? Could you post the section of the server log where Regios starts when you start the server?
@johnnyzerox7
Ive been using regios for awhile... It doenst seem to work.
I have tried to make a region by /regios set but it doesnt recognise the command or any of the other /regios commands.
Yes I have the most up to date version of regios and yes it is the proper place.
@IdealIdeas
No, your regions from 1.1 should still be fine. Are you sure you're using the right command? Regios responds to /r, /reg, or /regios
@godslam
do i have to remove my previous regions from 1.1? because I kinda skipped the 1.2.3 bukkit build all together.
Whenever I try to use regios commands it says command could not be found or something in relation to that.
@Matt_Beldom
Have you removed the protection bypass permission from yourself? (regios.bypass.all) I don't think being Op or not makes a difference if you are using permissions. I'll check though.
