Regios

Regios, a fully fledged, extensive and extendible Region mod. Regios allows you to easily create regions with a vast amount of properties such as protection, entry & exit control, password protection, speed and health modifiers and much more! Regios is multi-world compatible and lightweight. More so Regios is open source and has a well documented API which will allow other developers to make add-ons to make Regios even better!
NOTE: Regios v5.0.3 and later now REQUIRES Vault for Economy and/or Permissions support. You can still use Regios without Vault but it will be Op or basic superperms only and without economy support.

Ok, I've made it to where the contents of container items and signs are preserved during regenerations with out dropping their contents. There seems to be an issue with double chests created after a backup was done, they don't go away and their content disappears on regen, but I think it has something to do with how minecraft treats double chests. Double chests that already existed don't have a problem though. Just a heads up. The fixed version is up, available in the same place (http://mc.jzx7.net/Regios.jar) Let me know what you think.

When I reloaded the area, the chests looked as if they were destroyed and the contents flew out. Everything remained, just not within the chests. So there was no duplication.
Basically, the original contents were thrown out and nothing was put back. Signs were also left blank. I had to replace all of my Lockette signs. And wood turned back to normal wood instead of the new colored planks. (the wood within the chests, that is)

Let me ask you, what did it do before? Did the contents of the chests/furnaces just disappear? That's what it looks like it did based on the code but I want to verify first.

I'm glad you've got your own version. This was one of my favorite plugins and when I came back and it wasn't working, I was upset. Glad to see it's still working. I only need it for one reason currently and that's to make a mine that regens over a certain amount of time. I'm gonna use some plugin to run a command that regens an area.
Let me get to the one issue though. Chest/furnaces explode on a regen and the items go everywhere. That's the only issue I see. Everything else seems to work. If you can't fix it, no biggy, just letting you know.

Are you sure you have your permissions setup properly? Area protection works for me.

Okay, news on update.
I downloaded the source and let me tell you, it is horrid. Most of the updating will come from having to change how the config system worked, but I can do it. As I work part-time and have school it may take me longer than others, but I assure you I will get it updated and make sure it works properly.
um... for some reason it does not let me download it. could someone point me in the right direction? This is what pops up after I download it C:/Documents and Settings/usera/My Documents/Downloads/Regios.jar
i could update it if i would take a day to it, it's the new Config system that making me not to.
