RealMotd-ServerList

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

This plugin again uses power of RealMotd and brings it to your server list MOTD. You can now have single, daily or even random server message each time your server gets ping'd :)

Features

  • Lots of variables ( this plugin can't use all variables from RealMotd, since some of them can't be determined (playername etc.))
  • Colors
  • Full formatting support
  • Server icon support(0.2+)

Variables

As I said above, this plugin doesn't support all variables, just some of them. Here's an up-to-date list of supported variables:

  • %playerlist% - Online players
  • %d% - Day of month in real life
  • %mo% - Month
  • %yr% - Year
  • %h% - Hour
  • %mi% - Minute
  • %s% - Second
  • /n - New line in MOTD.
  • %whitelist% - Whitelisted players
  • %banlist% - Banned players
  • %allowednether% - Whether there is a nether enabled on this server (true | false)
  • %allowflight% - Whether there is flight allowed (true | false)
  • %serverip% - IP address of the server
  • %serverport% - Port the server is listening on
  • %serverid% - ID of the server (random number used for authentification)
  • %nplayersonline% - Online players count
  • %nmaxplayers% - Maximal count of players on the server
  • %worlds% - Worlds which this server is currently running
  • %plugins% - Plugins running on this server If this isn't enough, you can request more variables in the comments section below :)

Dependencies

Installation

  1. Install RealMotd
  2. Download latest version of RealMotd-ServerList
  3. Copy the JAR to your plugins folder
  4. Done!

Configuration

This plugin generates its own config file on first server run. The config file currently only contains one node, which is mode. Mode works exactly the same as RealMotd's motd.mode, except it takes MOTD files from RealMotd-ServerList/messages. Icons are taken from RealMotd-ServerList/icons/ . Default icon's name is icon.png, day-specific icons are named icon_MONTH_DAY.png and random icons must all have .png extension.

Colors & formatting are exactly the same as in RealMotd
