PvPWatch
Sometimes, players may go overboard with their killing. This results in annoyed players and rage quits. While many plugins either offer ways of promoting PVP or completely blocking it, few actually offer a method of mediating the border in between the two realms. This plugin does exactly that. By allowing players to PVP, but to a certain extent. If a player kills more than a set number of people within a certain amount of time (all configurable), the plugin executes the per-configured commands through the console to stop the player from going overboard. This plugin was developed by the Dev Nation developers team (r0306, garrett2smart87, fred302).
What Features Does This Plugin Offer?:
- Provide a controlled environment in which PVP is allowed, but to an extent.
- Configurable options to set number of killable players in a certain amount of time.
- Execute configurable commands if the player is killing too many players.
- Option to execute commands on player join. (If they were kicked by the initial consequence).
- Can execute a list of commands.
- Lightweight - Simple and easy to use.
How Do I Install This Plugin? Installation is fairly simple. Just drag and drop into your server's plugins folder and restart the server. A folder named "PvPWatch" should appear and there should be a config.yml file inside. Edit this config to your heart's content. Once you're done, save the file and reload the server and you are ready to go!

@ProjectNarna
Yes it is, when a player kills to many its punished
@Fred50
Ah, I only saw commands as a way to punish players. Is the PvP blocking built in?
@ProjectNarna when a player does go overboard on here it tell them to stop killing people. and if they dont it will punish them.
Hey, Do you have any suggested plugins/commands which should be used as an action when a player does go overboard with their PvP?
@r0306
kinda similiar to that last request but a slight difference,
can you add a feature that only lets them kill the same player a configurable amount of times per time frame (without having to specify a player name) so while anyone can make ex 10 kills they can only kill the very same player ex 3 times
and perhaps an add on to that feature that if that player then kills them ex 3 times they get a reup of their limit doubling the two parties so each involved can now kill the one who killed him ex 3 more times
so that second feature would basicly allow two people to continue killing each other forever until the kill score becomes off balance by ex 3 then the loser is the only one who can do a kill on that other person
also an option of preventing/allowing the reup limit of going above the default limit which in this ex was 10
just a thought :D
thx r0306
@Sigong
I'll try to add that in.
Can I make it so a person can kill every person, but only a certain number of times for each person. Example: Bob can kill Bill, George, and Fred 5 times each without getting Penalized.
@r0306
well thx
@Fred50
Lol I couldn't find your name so I didn't add you at first but you're in now. :)
hey what about me guys
@r0306
Not at all ;)
@DevNation
Thanks. XD I couldn't wait so I just submitted it lol. Hope you don't mind.
Very nice submission for the team, r0306 :D
