PropertyGuard
PropertyGuard
Player controlled property protection, purchasing, and sales!
Allows players to select an area (using the WorldEdit two point cuboid selection method), check the price to protect it, purchase the protection, which creates a WorldGuard Protected Region. Then they can cash it out to remove it, or offer it for sale to another player.
Properties are created with the following WorldGuard Region Protection Flags set:
Flags.use deny
Flags.greeting Entering %player%'s protected area
Flags.farewell Leaving %player%'s protected area
You can change these to any other WorldGuard Region Flag, see the Configuration Page for more information.
Commands
To select an area:
Hold a wooden ax, and left click to set the first point, then go to the opposite corner of the 3D Cuboid Area and select the second point.
This requires giving players the WorldEdit "worldedit.selection.pos " Permission. See the Permissions Page for more information.
To check the price before you buy a new property (first select an area):
/pg price
To buy a new property (first select an area):
/pg buy {new_property}
To see information about a property:
/pg info {property}
The property parameter is not needed if you are in a WorldGuard Region that has no overlapping regions.
To cash a property (sell for a faction of the price back to the server):
/pg cash {property}
To sell a property to another player (this sends and offer for the sale):
/pg sell {property} {player} {price}
To accept a sale offer (this is done by the receiving player:
/pg yes
NOTE: Both players must be online and in the world where the property is located to complete the sales transaction.
To add a member to your property:
/pg add {property} {player}
To remove a member from your property:
/pg remove {property} {player}
To set WorldGuard Protection Flags on your property:
/pg flag {property} {flag_name} {setting}
Notes
All transactions assign the players to and remove from any properties (WorldGuard Regions) involved, and also add or deduct any money from the economy.
The lowest price a new property sells for is $1, the lowest price a property can be cashed out is $0.
Requires WorldGuard, WorldEdit, Vault, and an economy for Vault to connect to.
AlexDios, would PropertyGuard work alongside ProtectionStones without any conflicts? I'm guessing as they are both just a means of claiming WorldGuard regions then they should be ok being installed together?
I'm a big fan of PS, but I'm thinking I would like to stick with PS for my regular members as it's nice and simple and allows us some control over the land they are claiming, but I would like to allow my donators to use PropertyGuard as it would give them more flexibility to claim much more land without the need to place lots of PS.
@AxelDios
I had the same issue, the solution was to stop the server, edit the config then start it up. works well that way.
Is it possible to have a default priority setting to the pg regions pls? :)
@Tohanczyn
PM me your config.yml, so I can see what you have.
@Tohanczyn
Sounds like it's not running, and if it's not running it's most likely you aren't meeting the requirements above:
Requires WorldGuard, WorldEdit, Vault, and an economy for Vault to connect to.
First run the /pl command and see if PropertyGuard is loaded.
Then if it isn't running then check your server's log for any error messages.
Also make sure you match the above requirements, including an economy that is supported by Vault (see the Vault Page for a list of supported economy plugins).
Whenever i change the price per block. And reload my server. It goes back to $1.00. Help?
@gamepro552
This plugin will be updated to 1.7 in Feb. I'll look into adding a renting option, but no promises at this time.
@AxelDios
Do you know how long I've been looking for a plugin that does this? It seems like something that should be built into WG but there are no plans for that. I've been testing this plugin in a 1.7.4 Spigot (Modified bukkit) server and it seems to be working. One thing that I would like to see is the option for renting WG Regions. Like you make a region and you pay a specified price every X amount of hours that can be configured in the config.

If you go to the WorldGuard Flags Page and scroll down, you will see the color codes you can add.
How can I get greeting/farewell flags in colour?
@DrRedAxel
I won't be adding a teleport because of several reasons, one being multiple properties for a player, also PG Doesn't have it's own database, so I have to parse all the property the player owns in WorldGuard's Databases, this is the same reason a regular player doesn't have access to a list command, it could be used to create a DoD type of attack against the server without adding a lot of security and timeouts to block the players.
another suggestions, allow the ability to Teleport to Property and View own properties, although there is the /region list -p [name] command I would rather have players do /pg list
@DrRedAxel
Same to you fellow Axel.
And thank you for the error note, this plugin is inline for major updates, and fixes.
@AxelDios (nice name btw) and @Pinkist Awesome Thanks also when you try to do /pg buy with no area selected it dosen't give you a warning saying "Select an area" it gives you an error
@DrRedAxel
Use /pg cash <regionname>
@DrRedAxel
/pg remove only removes a member from a property, it doesn't remove the property itself.
So say I messed up setting a region, and I want to remove it, is it possible that the server will refund you for using the /pg remove?
@nhadobas
I think its highly wanted to use worldguard as the base protection system to build off... not doing so is bleh...
I fear the worst. One of the most underrated plugins being underrated again... Only types of server I know that use this are the older mature servers that started using worldguard way back when. Seems as if no developers think its such a wanted plugin.
@AxelDios
@LordKainzo
I have three more plugins on the way, and about five after that, but once i get the next three out I'll be spending some much needed time updating PropertyGuard.
