PokeSlime
PokeSlime
Overview
Ever wanted to play Pokemon in Minecraft? Now you can! This plugin turns Slimeballs into Pokeballs.
Features
- Throw Slimeballs on mobs to catch them, then throw the ball on anything to eject the mob.
- Exchange your catched mobs with other players simply by exchanging the balls.
- Store the mob filled balls in chests to catch 'em all!
- Tameable mobs will be tamed for you (the player who ejects the mob)!
How to
Simply right click to throw the ball. If it's empty it will catch the mob, if it's filled it will eject it.

Thanks to Danither for making this video!
damn, get it to work with 1.7.9!
Please update this to work with 1.6.2! This is amazing!
This plugin is now hosted elsewhere.
Can somebody please update this amazing plugin?
Sadly this does not seem to work with the latest 1.5.2 builds :(
1.5 compatible?
@V10lator
Goodbye. Enjoy yourself.
Anyone know if this will work with Mypet? o_O For example, if you throw a slime ball at a zombie, he'll become a mypet. If so, that's epic! lol
Good bye everyone!
@kevco231 Self created?
If so: Mind to share?
If not: Mind to give the source?
i have a texture pack for making this mod better :)
@SmellyBudd PokeSlime should dissalow stacked SlimeBalls, but there are some issues with creative mode.
if you right click with a stack of slimeballs in your hand it throws all of them at once. if you throw the stack at 1 monster it traps a monster in everyball... (a stack of 64 thrown at 1 zombie = 64 zombie balls. I sense danger lol
Cool
@MeiliCraft Well, this plugin should work with the newest bukkit builds. It's a simple, lightweight plugin.
And that's the point... It's simple and lightweight... It may sound easy to implement what you want, but it isn't. In fact it would increase the codes by a factor of around 500%... So the answer to your question is: Maybe... If I have the time to do so.
Heya, are you going to continue with this plugin? because it is really nice. And is there anyway you can make it so that mobs you catch will be neutral to you?
@ConcernedCitizen Please look at the release date of v1.0: There where no spawn eggs at that time. ;)
This is pretty similar to a couple mob catching plugins i've seen. Not sure why he doesnt just use spawn eggs, its a lot easier to keep track of. makes capturing and managing multiple mobs a lot easier
Permission implementation would be nice :)
@Danither Thanks, added. :)
