PlayerParticles
PlayerParticles has moved to Spigot. Please download the plugin from https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/playerparticles.40261/ for now on. Newer versions will no longer be uploaded here.
PlayerParticles is great to use as a VIP perk and is EULA friendly! Your players will love the amount of customization that is available for them!
The plugin wiki can be found here: https://github.com/Esophose/PlayerParticles/wiki
Permission details can be found in the wiki here: https://github.com/Esophose/PlayerParticles/wiki/Permissions
The GUI provides ease-of-access for your users. Simply typing /pp will open the GUI and bring them to a menu where they can edit their particles. If you are using the plugin for a server lobby, you can bind the /pp gui command to an item using a different plugin.
The section below contains a GIF of all styles currently available in the plugin. Please note that all styles are compatible with all particle effects, meaning there are thousands of combinations. I only show one effect per style in the GIFs below. While most of the GIFs only show the particles around a player, the majority of them can also be placed around blocks.

PlayerParticles will check for an update each time your server starts. The plugin .jar will never be downloaded, OPs will get a notification in chat when they log in if an update is available. PlayerParticles will also send metrics about your server anonymously through bStats.
Update checking can be turned off by setting check-updates to false in the config.yml. Metrics can be turned off by setting send-metrics to false in the config.yml.
If a player has their particle settings (In Options > Video Settings) set to minimal they will be unable to see most particles displayed. I am unable to fix this since it is purely client side.
I will only help you with errors you are having if you are running the latest version of the plugin and are running a supported version of Minecraft!
The source code is available on GitHub: https://github.com/Esophose/PlayerParticles
I have set up a Discord server for my plugins that you can join if you want to get faster support, make feature requests, or report bugs. Invite link: https://discord.gg/MgUsTBK
Do you think you could add either a leaf particle or make a one with dye cracking (like the iconcrack but with multiple dyes)?
And maybe a GUI in the future?
Version 4 is now available! EDIT: Had to reupload file due to bad config.yml
Please report any bugs you find immediately so they can be fixed in v4.1.
The remainder of the features that were going to be in v4 will be available in v4.1.
Enjoy!
I am Taiwanese .. (sorry for bad english ~ (Google Translation
This plug so cool !! Although I do not know much .. haha Want more particle mode!
This plug-in is great !!
I reformatted my computer about a week ago and have been working on getting all my things set up again.
I pretty much freaked out when I noticed all my PlayerParticles files were absolutely lost.
Good thing everything was backed up on the GitHub page ._.
@Mardolla
Yeah, sorry for the downtime. School started again so I've been a bit busy. I will try to get something somewhat presentable out by this weekend.
Any idea when the next update would be? I'd love to see the unstable sand particle effect ^.^
Status on Version 4:
The first version will likely have a couple bugs I am unable to find by myself. If you find any, submit a ticket immediately.
I am having to leave off the density feature for now. I'm not sure if it will ever be added since you could just code your own style instead.
EDIT: I will be going on vacation soon so the updating has been going pretty slow lately. Sorry about the wait.
@ServerMiner
Thanks! I forgot to add it to the description when I saw it.
Cheers for the reminder~
We love your plugin so we decided to create a video to showcase its features!
We created a YouTube video tutorial for you, feel free to use it on your plugin info area: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMAilCK0PIQ
@nods0123
If you want to code a custom style for yourself that will be available in v4 which should come out within the next two weeks. If you want a custom style added, create a ticket with a description in it and I will see what I can do.
Is there a way to make custom Styles? Cuz I have a fairy idea which is a fairy that slightly hovers over the player (Different from 'point') which I want to add to my server...
@Wihunda
I encourage you to request more styles and list what you want added under a ticket so I can be kept reminded of them.
Fantastic plugin that looks professional and feels good to use. I would love to see more styles, even simple ones like double helix compared to quad or maybe one like the halo, but on the ground and wider.
Can't wait for version 4!
I love these styles! Great work on this plugin :D
Awesome plugin works beautifully. thanks
@dos_jeffes
Nope
Is there a command that would allow a plugin to give a player the particles for say 20 seconds
Great plugin, Players love having these partials. Thanks the amazing plugin.
Do you know any sources you used to learn how to use player particles? If so, that'd be great.
@Esophose
Thank you so much. The density would only work on feet, move, and none like you said. What I meant by the trail was essentially just like the feet. I realize the trail didn't make sense and I am looking forward for the feet! Once again thanks so much your plugin is awesome!
