PlayerParticles
PlayerParticles has moved to Spigot. Please download the plugin from https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/playerparticles.40261/ for now on. Newer versions will no longer be uploaded here.
PlayerParticles is great to use as a VIP perk and is EULA friendly! Your players will love the amount of customization that is available for them!
The plugin wiki can be found here: https://github.com/Esophose/PlayerParticles/wiki
Permission details can be found in the wiki here: https://github.com/Esophose/PlayerParticles/wiki/Permissions
The GUI provides ease-of-access for your users. Simply typing /pp will open the GUI and bring them to a menu where they can edit their particles. If you are using the plugin for a server lobby, you can bind the /pp gui command to an item using a different plugin.
The section below contains a GIF of all styles currently available in the plugin. Please note that all styles are compatible with all particle effects, meaning there are thousands of combinations. I only show one effect per style in the GIFs below. While most of the GIFs only show the particles around a player, the majority of them can also be placed around blocks.

PlayerParticles will check for an update each time your server starts. The plugin .jar will never be downloaded, OPs will get a notification in chat when they log in if an update is available. PlayerParticles will also send metrics about your server anonymously through bStats.
Update checking can be turned off by setting check-updates to false in the config.yml. Metrics can be turned off by setting send-metrics to false in the config.yml.
If a player has their particle settings (In Options > Video Settings) set to minimal they will be unable to see most particles displayed. I am unable to fix this since it is purely client side.
I will only help you with errors you are having if you are running the latest version of the plugin and are running a supported version of Minecraft!

@YoyoAlex
A feet style is planned for the next version, I'm not sure what you mean by trail though. Since the density would only affect very few styles, I could look into adding that. It would likely only get applied to move, feet, and none because they don't have any sort of fixed patterns.
Thank you for your suggestions, I will see what I can do!
(I have updated the v4 progress section with more goodies as well)
@Esophose Would it be possible to add another command for v4? For example /pp density (amount) It would be really cool. You could be able to change the max density in the config. A density of one would be 1 of the given particle. A density of 1000 would be a 1000. 1000 wouldn't look good so maybe a cap of 150 or 200. Also for one of the styles could you add a feet one or trail? Thanks so much! Your plugin is great already just wish it had a couple extra features!
Updated plugin to v3.9, now supports 1.10 and fixes a couple bugs.
Plans for major v4 update:
@cyanide43
I didn't really expect 1.10 to come out so fast. It came out 300% faster than 1.9 did. Give me a couple days to update it with the new particles.
Plugin spams the console and doesn't work on 1.10. Please update when you can, thank you!
@SkyFallX2003
The style is quadhelix and the particle type is endrod.
hi. How is named the effect from photo ? Not the cube.
Hey this is a cool plugin hoping more to come i made a video about this plugin on my private server. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TChjNDF__W0
Thanks for the 15,000 downloads everybody!
@Esophose
Alright, thanks man. I'll put your name in my plugin stating this is your API. If I need your help with something, I'll let you know. Also, I'm going to see if I can make multiple particle effects.
@MitchellBraaten
I just uploaded v3.8 which adds the new 'orb' style I was talking about. I didn't end up making it so you can use multiple particles because that would end up causing more problems than good (Mainly server performance).
If you want to keep using the plugin as an API go ahead, otherwise I could give you some advice on how to use multiple. PM me for more information on that.
@pellopo82
Fixed that bug in the new version.
@Esophose
I feel your pain about finals, I can barely work on my plugin because of it. (btw, my plugin utilizes your plugin's handy work, I was wondering if you could give me some help on possibly creating my own particles w/ my plugin)? Other than that, that sounds awesome! Keep up the good work man.
@pellopo82
Will do
There is a bug. How to reproduce:
1.) Give a player the permission "playerparticles.heart" 2.) Give the player's permission group the permission "playerparticles.style.move" 3.) The user executes /pp heart and then /pp style move 4.) Now take away the permission "playerparticles.heart" from the player
He is still able to move and have the particle effect "heart" !!!
Please fix!
@MitchellBraaten
Hey there, thank you for the suggestions. I am always looking for new ideas.
1). Multiple particles at once? Sure thing.
2). Controlling styles? It would be easier to add new stules entirely, there aren't very many and I feel like there can be more. I will add 'orb' as another style type which will be quadhelix but without the up and down movement.
The update should be out... can't give a good date right now. School finals are going to begin soon. I will work on it when I get a chance (Within 2 weeks for sure).
If you have any other suggestions or would like to contact me again, you can comment here or PM me. Thanks!
EDIT: I will get the GitHub page updated for you tomorrow. Been postponing that for far too long. (Saw your plugin)
I have some suggestions:
My 1st one would be to have multiple particles going at once (if you can). It would be really cool to have two particles going at once for more epicness.
My 2nd would be controlling where the styles showed up around your player, I.E. /pp styles quadhelix feet or bottom. That way it would only display a helix on the button of your player. Or you could do /pp styles quadhelix stay, that that it wouldn't go up and down and it would keep the helix, but it would just stay a stationary spinning quad helix around your player.
Other than that, this is an awesome plugin.
@ReasonWhyGamer
Thanks for the suggestion for the screenshot. I added a fancy gif near the top of the page.
I recommend having a lightning particle effect. Like when lightning comes from behind you.
@FatherWh0
Nope, fixed now. Was having some trouble with the new updating system.
Thank you for an awesome plugin Esophose. Quadhelix is impressive.
Should I be concerned about the 'awaiting approval' msg at the top of the project page?
