- Thank you very much to AbsintoJPl who made a video tutorial for the plugin (Português Brazil).
- Thank you very much to Benjazor Azor who made a video presentation for the plugin (French).
Development
The project is published under GNU version 3 license, the source code is available on github so feel free to contribute!
@Sikatsuu
The plugin is designed to share your caving experience, not to spy on your players. So obviously, it's enabled by default. It's not like it's difficult to change it tho.
@bendembd
Tried it, but it seems everything is enabled by default, should be the other way around! :(
@Sikatsuu
Except if spigot broke the API, I see no reason it wouldn't work.
Does this still work on 1.8?
@bendembd
It works! Thanks for your help, man <3

@bendembd
What do you mean by negate?
@jonohigh1
You should try negating ob.receive for everybody except your staff instead of giving it to your staff, it's on by default.
@bendembd
I'm using CraftBukkit 1.8, the latest version of GroupManager, the latest version of OreBroadcast and I'm not using any other plugin that hooks to it (FoundDiamomds etc.)
Permission-wise, my staff have the ob.receive permission and that's it. I'm not sure if that's set up correctly or something, but any help would be greatly appreciated :)
@jonohigh1
Well, either you're not using CraftBukkit, your permission plugin is broken, your permissions are broken, you're using an outdated version of OreBroadcast or another plugin hooked into OreBroadcastEvent and is messing things up.
What your server's version, what's the plugin version, what permission plugin are you using, and what do your permissions look like?
@bendembd
Yeah, but nobody has the permission to trigger or receive broadcasts, yet they can still do both.
You should scroll up, there is a permission section in the description right before the comments.
Is there a permission to stop regular users seeing broadcasts? Everyone on the server can see the broadcasts and I'd rather set it so only staff can. Thanks :)
@bendembd
Okey, thanks for the info.
@DjSmeXhy
The plugin is licensed under GPL3, so you can do whatever you want as long as you conform to it (this is great if you wonder what that implies).
@bendembd
And is there any way, that I can update your plugin and post it on Spigot, with link to your offi plugin? Of course for free and with opensource license, so just "for fun".
@DjSmeXhy
Because spigot is illegal and I don't agree with most of their decisions (The problem you reported is probably due to using spigot).
Also, I don't develop actively for minecraft anymore, if the only choice available is spigot, I prefer not developing anymore.
Why you don't want move on Spigot? Spigot is future and most used core for Minecraft servers. ..and can you add some fix for example: when I am mining, I must broke that ore, not only touch? I have some anti-xray and this is spamming my chat with broadcasts. Thanks
@Rory185
That feature was already suggested, considered and refused. Handling block metadata is a PITA and doesn't really fit the goals of this project.
@bendembd Add support for spawners please
