This Plugin allows you to create and control npc's.NPCCraft allows you to spawn and control npcs with different players/mobs as the npc look.
The npc's will be able to:
- Move
- Talk
- Fight
- Quest
- Walk around
- Or even interact with eachother
NPCCraft will further advance the player-npc interaction in the minecraft servers.
Simple Commands are:
Command | Info | Description |
---|---|---|
/nc create [name] [player/mob] | *[player/mob]* defines the skin for the npc | Creates the NPC with a skin id for RP purposes |
/nc follow | The NPC will follow the player long as he is in the configured range. | Follows the player |
/nc attack | NPC will not attack non pvp players unless config is modified. | Attacks the target with the item equiped in hand. |
/nc quester | Changes the current NPC to a quester type | Quest commands are found by doing the /qs commands |
/nc roam | NPC's will not always move on there own all the time they will stop sometimes. | Allows the NPC to FreeRoam around the set area |

The NPC Skin2Player, what does that do exactly? My biggest concern with npc mods is in order to give them custom skins you have to give them a players name or use the spout client, neither of which I want to do. Have you found a work around? Or is this something else completely?
I find this MUCH easier than Citizens.
Yes Citizens is simular i am trying to work with the creature of Citizens on this and maybe combined the two but we will see. The key differences is that there will be player npc interactions that improve the user's experiance like for example if you have ever hear of the mod "Millinereir" (spelling is wrong i know did this in a hurry) im trying to combined thoes features with npcs that u create
What makes this at all different from citizens? To some sure citizens is hard to configure but honestly this all seems to do the same thing
i dont care about the mobspawning or roaming so can i have it as is? :D
It would be hard to have it save the skin and load that skin all the time. So baiscly it will change with the player. In a further update i may add access to spout and have it allow you to set its skin.
I agree... can't wait for you to finish it. Would the skin ID continually change depending on the player it was based on, or would it only be the skin of the player at the time of it's creation? It doesn't seem like you can have npc's with separate custom skins. I wouldn't know how anyway..
How long will this +/- take? Or do you need to start from scratch? Because we need a good quest/npc plugin. But if it takes to long i will ask our coder to make one.
