NoNothing
NoNothing
This plugin aims to (eventually) be a replacement for ModifyWorld. With permissions, you can disable hunger, damage, exhaustion while sprinting, and mob targeting. If you don't want to use permissions, you can use a config file to enable options globally.
Permissions
- nonothing.admin - allows use of the commands
- nonothing.disable.hunger - Disables Hunger
- nonothing.disable.damage - Never receive damage any more
- nonothing.disable.exhaustion - Sprint forever
- nonothing.disable.target - Make monsters unable to see this target
Note that disabling targeting does not disable damage from mobs. Also, some of the mobs seem to ignore this, such as spiders. This is being looked into for the next release. The ender dragon can also still target you.
Config
When you start NoNothing for the first time, a config file should be created. There are only a few options right now.
The main options are enable (which enables or disables the plugin) and global (which enables or disables use of the config file for all checks). The rest of the options are only available when global is true. They are disable.hunger, disable.damage, disable.exhaustion, and disable.target. These all work the same as permissions, but globally.
Commands
All commands are prefixed with either nonothing, or no.
- no set [enable|global|disable-hunger|disable-damage|disable-ehxaustion|disable-target] [true|false] - sets an option in config until the server is reloaded
- no get [enable|global|hunger|damage|ehxaustion|target] - displays an option in config
- no save - saves any temporary changes with no set to the config file
- no load - loads any changes in the config file into memory
Coming Soon
- More options to ignore mobs
- Options to change how disabling hunger works

@KAGamerAlex
Does it not work any more?
Are we gonna see a 1.1-R3 build soon?
@kozzy68
Are you using a plugin which supports the Bukkit superperms? Do you have an online server, so I can join and test it out myself?
I tested it again and all worked fine with permissions.
@SchwarzerZylinder
there are no exeptions to paste. tested it again with lava and with falling down. its like if plugin is not there at all. well it is listed in pl list.
Im sure perms are correct. same group has other perms inherited same way.
@kozzy68
@NukemD
It worked for me and if you do not get an error code, it's hard to find the reason.
Please test it out with the nodamage-permission and jump in lava or something and tell me exactly what happened.
its not working for me aswell. Using GM gm brige and CB R1. It has no effect
Finally something simple! All the other plugins that were for 1.8 were way to complex and added somethings that didn't even make sense or that weren't needed (kinda like what the US Congress does to our bills :D)
@NukemD
Hmm, tried nodamage with permissions and it worked fine. If you can specify and reproduce it, create a ticket pls.
And why do you not use the recommended build?
This mod stopped working properly on CB 1.0.1-R2 (CB1602).
There are no errors in the console, but the permissions part of the plugin isn't working, and even with using the config file, the plugin is unreliable and doesn't always work.
You wouldn't happen to have a github would you? Attempting to learn java and was trying to achieve something like this as practice seeing examples helps immensely!
@SaltyTangerine
Fixed in 1.11 :)
I love you <3
Ok, trip report:
Works flawlessly for OPs. Does not work for regular users at the moment, which is probably related to the lack of perms in my install.Actually, doesn't work for anybody, just takes a very long time for the hunger bar to drop. Also posts the following to the console every so often:Doesn't seem to be affecting the functionality at all, unless it's what's causing the "OPs only" problem. This is all in regards to just the hunger part, haven't tested the exhaustion or health parts.
@ShadyQc
Done.
@SaltyTangerine
Added config for you in 1.1 ;)
Is there a way you could set an option to remove the chat spam saying you don't have permission for that. Because if someone don't have nodamage at true, he get a message "no permissions for that" each time he get damaged by something... Same when someone sprint if noexhaustion is at false.
@SaltyTangerine
Hmm, that would require files. I want to keep it lightweight. Why do you not use permissions?
Any chance of getting a version of this that doesn't require permissions? This is exactly what I've been looking for.
