NoFarm - No more mob farms.
Mobs killed by players only drop items:
Version: v0.9 (For CB: 1.7)
Damage done by things like Cacti, Lava and suffocation do not yield drops from the mobs. Prevents players from building mob farms by only allowing items to drop from those killed by players themselves.
How it works:
Bukkit shows how a mob has died, what it died from, albeit a fall, lava, sword... etc This information is what makes NoFarm so simple, so efficient. If mobs are killed by anything other then player damage, the plugin nulls there drops. Really, it's that simple. :) I could sit and type out a bunch of useless information, but it would be thus that useless information. The plugin is so simple.
Why Should you use this?
Bottom line explanation is, it prevents useless unneeded items from collecting everywhere. Which causes huge amounts of lag and tick rate drop. Items dropping from a zombie in a desert because it died from a cacti, is unneeded and will only cause lag. Items dropping from an unattended mob grinder is unneeded and will cause lag. This plugin stops all that and more.

Disable mob fall damage in the config, till' I have a proper chance to look into that function. It will stop your errors.

I have a quick request for you, however, it is a bit abstract.
Add a configurable option for the amount of hearts of damage required from a player (configuration option variables: DamageFromPlayer) in order for the mob to be considered to have been killed by a player and give a drop/xp.
For example: DamageFromPlayer equals 6 in the configuration.
-Player does 5 hearts of damage on creeper, the rest of the damage is done by another creeper. The end result will be that the player DOES NOT get a drop or xp.
-Player does 6 hearts of damage on a creeper,t he rest of the daamge is done by another creeper. The end result will be taht the player DOES get a drop and xp.
To reduce lag, only tag the mobs which were attacked then if they player does not continue combat with that mob for 10 seconds it becomes untagged.

Ok thanks I can't wait. There was another plugin I was using but it was a bit to much for something where you just wanted to disable the XP of mobs. Prevent mob fall damage and make the players actually kill mobs for drops. With the disable the xp on mob spawners your plugin is going to kick ass hehe.

Till' I add a config option for those, you can always use 3.6, which works for the latest bukkit version.
No config? i don't want mobs stop getting falling damage...
Also add in the config an option to make spawned mobs from spawners don't drop items :) thanks! great work!
Thanks for eliminating mob fall damage! This is one of the big ways people were farming mobs and then punching them once to get exp and items.

My players are making mobs fall to their deaths, should this stop them from collecting form that kind of farming??

I was wondering if you add a setting to prevent any and all damage uses besides from sword/arrow. People are doing traps that drop them almost to death and fist mobs to death to exploit around.
I see it says that it has XP crushers on the details, has this been added to the latest version yet? If not can I get a build/dev build containing it?
