TrackNode

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

TrackNode

Minecraft Server Player Location Directory

TrackNode was designed with the intent to have all your friends in close reach to make it easier to play together when testing out a new awesome server. In simple terms, this is a directory service to see where your friends are playing across the interwebs.

its simple as entering a username, or if you're a developer: An UUID.

-

TrackNode Front-end

The front-end is designed as a user-friendly template to search for a player. it can be easily accessed via http://track.nodesoftware.com/

-

Future Integration

The Node Software Team plans to have an OpenAPI System implemented for programming languages like Python, VB.NET, C# and Java. Protocol data will be received over HTTP via GET methods.

-

The concept

Unintentionally, this aims to provide a similar goal as Friends Overlay did and I hope towards the future we can progress to that goal. An open environment for anyone to integrate on for servers that operate this plugin.

-

Configuration & Setup

  • No configuration needed - TrackNode works solely in the background-on demand when players join and leave your server.

-

Planned Features

  • BungeeCord Integration
  • Better IPv4 Address Detection - Detect when getServer().getIp() returns empty and replace with external IPv4 Address
