MyTitlesContinued

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

This is a continuation of the plugin MyTitles by magnificence7. All credits goes to him!

I've tried contacting him but it seems he disappeared from the forums and BukkitDev. Also see this forum thread.

MyTitles 4.1.0

About

The idea of this plugin is that players can earn and own titles. A title adds a prefix and a suffix to the player's name. The player has the ability to choose which title to use at all times. A title can either by earned through a plugin or be given by an other player that has the rights to distribute the titles.

The main purpose of this plugin is the following. Imagine you are a server administrator and you have two plugins installed that both add affixes to player's names. This might cause one of the plugins to break or all the players to get very long names (with the affixes of both plugins). This is why I came up with this plugin. This plugin provides an interface for other plugins to create the titles and give them to players so that they don't have to implement the affixes on the player's names themselves, having to fear for collisions with other plugins. MyTitles also attempts to gain ultimate control over player names, but it might still collide with a plugin that does the same thing.

Titles can also have different variations which can be assigned to individual players, how that works will be explained in a guide that will be published here in the future. Because this functionality only makes sense for plugin-use, so title variations are not supported for stand-alone usage.
