Features:
This plugin allows you to give players custom permissions, create groups and add permissions, players, prefixes and suffixes to the groups!
Now even mostly without commands via ingame GUI!
(/group config <groupname> V1.2.5)
In reply to levapap:
I never tried using dots in prefixes or group names. It might be a bug that I can fix.
It's nit planned to add suffixes yet, but i could do it, if it's wished
In reply to ManatorDE:
I think, that I would create lots of wonderful things with suffixes, if they were added.
Hi, I read the earlier messages and some were similar to my question but I’m still unsure how to fix it. I am quite now to this and am kinda lost in how to do everything. I was my server owner but now don’t have any access to my commands. Is there anyway you recommend I fix this? Thank you!
In reply to cb48350:
You can rather use the console to op yourself or create an operator group by using the console. It is necessary to use the console to give the first player or group operator permissions (if you don't want to bother with the files)
In reply to ManatorDE:
Thank you! I am still a little bit confused, one more question what would I put in the console? /op, mypermissions:op, and Minecraft.command.op do not seem to work for me.
In reply to cb48350:
You can for example create a group using /group create Admin and make it op by using /group setop Admin true
And then put yourself in the group by using /group addplayer <your name> Admin
In reply to ManatorDE:
Thank you so much! Works perfect!
In reply to ManatorDE:
Hello, sorry to bother. None of these commands work in my console even after installation... Do I need to create the commands my self in the command list and then the commands will interact properly with the plugin?
EDIT: ok I seemed to have figured it out, I'm just an absolute noob with the console XD
In reply to capitainepenix:
The console works basically just like the in game commands, but without the /
Hello, everytime i use a permission related command, I get an error in chat and server console.
"An Internal error occurred while attempting to perform this command"
In reply to Nentiker:
You are using Version 1.0.8
The errors are already fixed in the later versions
In reply to ManatorDE:
Oh, my fault. Sorry ^^'
Thank you.
there is a way where the player can join the group with a commandblock using
group addplayer @p 'group' ?
or any other method ? thanks.
In reply to Psycoapatico:
Should work like that
In reply to ManatorDE:
It doesn't work like that, I been looking for a plugin to make groups to use on world guard (since that also doesn't allow to use @p) - but this permission plugin seems incredibly clean and good, but doesn't work at all with command blocks, it would be golden if that worked, but for now... I must look for another plugin that enables the use of @p.
Also please add some error handling, most commands give no return whatsoever.
Please test using @p before replying here, because it doesn't, it even spams errors in the chat for every letter after the use of @p (An internal error occurred while attempting to tab-complete this command)
In reply to reaper_iru:
I'll have a look on it and I'll try to make it work
Edit: I managed to fix the errors and make the commands work. Update will be out soon
In reply to ManatorDE:
In reply to ManatorDE:
I've tried permissions add @p <permission> and only this seems to go with @p
the other command group addplayer @p 'group' doesn't work as reaper_iru says.
There's no way to fix it ?
Thanks.
In reply to Psycoapatico:
It doesn't make too much sense..
It's not about permissions, as these commands have the same permission.
I don't really know how to fix it. I never really used command blocks.
Edit: I managed to fix the errors and make the commands work. Update will be out soon
I think I de:op'd myself and I don't know how. I have no access to any commands. I am the Server Owner. All I get when I try to OP myself is that I have no permissions to do this and "An internal error occurred [...]".
How do I get my permissions back?
