mxImgImport
mxImgImport - Version 2.1
This plugin has been revived ;)
Look here to see other examples how awesome this plugin is !
Ever wanted to have your favorite Pixelart in your Minecraft-World?
Then this plugin is the right for you. It easily imports an image with one command directly into your minecraft world. Basically all Blocks are used, based on their Color appeareance from middle-far distance.
Commands
/imgimport undo
Undoes your last Image-Import. That's only possible until the next reload. (Fair warning: The content of chests and other similar blocks will not be restored!)
Example: /imgimport undo
/imgimport file [Filename]
Imports the Imagefile given in Filename (supports png, gif, BMP). The Path is relative to the 'plugins/mxImgImport/ ' Folder.
/imgimport file [Filename] w Imports the Image given in Filename (supports png, gif, BMP) but this time only with Wool-Blocks! The Path is relative to the 'plugins/mxImgImport/ ' Folder.
/imgimport url [URL] Imports the Image from a website. There are however some limits to this. The File has to be a valid image-file(not JPEG) and you need a special permission for each host. The permission consists of imgimport.urlimport.Hostname. Example: If you want to import from ab.example.com, you'll need the imgimport.urlimport.ab.example.com - Permission.
Direction Selection Progress
If you start the Imageimport, you have to select 2 Points. These two planes have to be coplanar, as they span the Plane the Image is imported on.

Make it so you can use a url?
Check out pixelArt plugin.
Nope, just prints an error when loading in 1.2, as expected. This plugin looks pretty abandoned, and CopyCat finally stopped working too with 1.2, I can't find any bukkit plugin that does the same thing as these guys.
Does this still work?
