Multi World Money
Multi World Money
Version: 2.2
Keeps money localized to worlds
This plugin is for multi-world servers that want to keep money separate between worlds. For example, you have a server with the following worlds:
- Survival
- Creative
- A Skyblock
- Acid Island
- Prison
- PvP
MultiWorldMoney will give players a separate balance in each world! Teleport between them and the player's balance will change. Players can check their balance using the /balance command and see what they have in each world. Players can also /pay each other and money will stay in the world they pay from.
This plugin is tiny (35K) and works with economies like Essentials. If your multi-inventory plugin already separates money by world or you are using a multi-world capable economy, then you do not need this plugin.
Note: This plugin cannot prevent other plugins from changing player's balances, e.g., chest shops. If you allow players to sell items, the chest shop will credit them in the world they are in (online or offline). Therefore, this plugin is best for servers where players buy items, but not sell them. (See Known Limitations section below)
Features
- Separates money between worlds
- /pay command that pays players within a world
- Administrator give, take and set commands
- /mwm reload reloads the config and groups files from in game
- Displays world aliases from Multiverse if it is installed

Required Plugins
- Vault - make sure you use the latest version!
- Some kind of Economy Plugin, like Essentials
Optional Plugin
- Multiverse-Core - will use the world aliases if used
Compatibility
- Required UUID's so 1.7.9 onwards
Installation and Configuration
- Stop server
- Download and install Vault and an economy plugin like Essentials if you haven't done so
- Download and install Multiverse-Core (Optional but recommended)
- Download the plugin and place into your plugins folder
- Restart your server
- The plugin will make a folder called MultiWorldMoney. Open that folder.
- Check config.yml
- Edit the groups.yml file to match the world grouping you want.
- Type /mwm reload in the game to reload the config and group files.
Known Limitations
- Money given to a user by another plugin or via an economy /pay command will be deposited in the world they are in now or when they logged out. To avoid this disable the economy /pay command via permissions and use MultiWorldMoney's /pay instead.
- This includes money from chest shop sales.

@chaosworlds
That is is in there already. Just edit the groups.yml file.
Can you add world groups to this plugin? Just so some worlds share money but not with all other worlds in other groups. More groups can be made.
Groups:
'1':
- world
- world_nether
'2':
- world_the_end
I updated to the newest version and now players balances are messed up :(. They're missing money from different worlds. I dont know what went wrong
Folks - update to V2.1 if you are using /pay because it fixes an exploit.
The correct permission for /pay is mwm.pay. Previously that was listed as mwm.payplayer above. It's corrected now and sorry for any confusion.
@Blaze590
Updated!
This has pretty much reached perfection with the UUID addition!!! :D
@tastybento
Fantastic :D
@frizzbee30
I'm writing an update to the plugin to fully handle UUID's. It's in progress, but it's essentially a complete rewrite so it'll be a week or two before it's ready.
@Blaze590
It works fantastic on 1.8.3, it just needs the UUID ability if that's what you mean?
This plugin looks amazing, and just what I need! Could you update it to 1.8 + Please :3
@DarkFoxDie
we have pay enabled with no problems (that we know of)
The idea of the plugin is to manage different balances in different worlds (essential for us), it may be worth pasting your config to check the groups?
@tastybento
please do look into it, its probably the same reason my one players balances ended up different on different worlds....i have them linked and they were working. or perhaps its because i have essentials pay still on and he used that.
@tastybento
Thanks :)
@frizzbee30
I'm sorry, but MWM does nto support player name changes and does not fully use UUID's. It was the very first plugin I did and uses player names to store files. I'll look into how it could be upgraded, but it could take some time.
looking in the player data, the plugin appears to be keeping multiple usernames for each UUID when the player changes, also the balance isnt transferred to the new file. I would have thought all the player files would have been converted to their equivalent UUID?
had an instance or two of players who change name losing stored balance?
@jordanallen06
It does have UUID info in there, so hoping it does. Knowing how the author builds plugins I would be tempted to think it is capable?
Does this plugin support name changes coming up? I noticed it uses usernames in files, but seems like it might not support name changes. Need to switch it to just UUIDs.
@lizziebeth22
I use /bal top.
However we do desperately need a logging feature, with an option to clear, as it is really tough to bust exploiters,especially if they are regular, 'trusted' players on the server. A log would be great for evidence to help track , also to resolve when players say 'I lost my' or 'i had' etc. :)
