Loving the plugin. The only issue I have. Is that on my server we use guns. and if a player gets shot just once. they lose the whole extra Row of hearts. then regular damage on original Row. Any suggestions?

Sorry for the late reply. I have used the alternative more hearts plugin, it did work, but not as it should. When groups were assigned additional hearts, they would get them, but so would every other group would be able to see these hearts.
From my experience, they didn't actually get additional health, the empty hearts would just sit there and I didn't like that - which would probably look like a massive glitch to users. There were also a few other things that differ about the two plugins that I can't remember. If you have any more questions, please ask. :)

I use this plugin on a 1.7.10 server, so I can't verify the 1.8 thing. I assign groups the nodes with the other plugin as well. I'm going to go test this on a 1.8 or higher server and see if the other plugin works. If not, a slight alteration to the methods called would fix that. You can come check out the 1.7.10 server I use the other plugin on if you'd like.
Edit: I just threw the 1.7.10 version of the other plugin on a 1.8.7 server. It worked perfectly.

This plugin is 1.8 whereas the other is 1.7, if you installed that 1.7 one on a 1.8 server it would not work at all because of the new api(I think) but if you used this 1.8 plugin it would have no problem at all on a 1.8 server. Also this plugin revolves around groups and the other plugin revolves around players, e.g. this plugin you can assign a certain amount of hearts to any group but with the other plugin you only assign it to one player.
This is very similar to http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/more-hearts/. Whats the difference between these two plugins? Not trying to pick a fight. Just curious.
great ! i waiting this update !
@Roissica
We're working on a new update. This will include MoreHearts being controlled by in-game commands as well as our config file. :)
Can you add command in game, exemple: /mh add NĀ°hearts player /mh join player group ...
