@Montpelier
No, however my plugin supports towny which can have separate regions.
Hello, general question pitched at all the major IRC plugins: Does this plugin support assigning an IRC channel to an in-game region, so two-way communication between channel and game is available only within a certain area? Has anyone already done this, or knows of a combination of plugins that allows it?
my bot is connected to irc but was not able to join any irc channels, I've also tried using the in-game command like /irc join channel and error appears "Could not join that channel" any suggestions? I tried both MonsterIRC - 1.602 and MonsterIRC and 1.62 still the same problem.
@fletch_to_99
wow, I can't believe I missed that xD
This is getting more and more awesome, thanks!
This may be too much to ask, but I have been on other servers that have cool bot functions in-game. They can do !quote [player] and quote them or !define [thing] and it will define it. They can also do stuff like !message [name] [message] and when they login, the message displays. Idk much about IRC but this would be really cool if you could do that :D
@rylinaux
{channelColor} for which channel? The hero chat channel? If so that already exists :)
Could you possibly add a {channelColor} tag to the formatting option? This would be nice to have the colour of the channel be the colour of the text that gets passed to it.
@uncovery
Tell him this is what I use:
Herochat.getChannelManager().getChannel(chatChannel).announce(mesage);
chatchannel is a string which is equal to the channel name. message is the message to be sent to the channel.
Hi,
I posted a but report at Herochat since the MonsterIRC chats are not visible to the Herochat logfiles or even the main console.
I got a reply now from the dev team of Herochat but cannot answer the question since it is technical regarding the code in MonsterIRC. Can you please reply to the bug report?

thanks!
Hi, its a very good plugin, nice work!
But i have a request, it is possible to add ?:
- Seeing alliance and faction chat with tag prefix, from game to irc (Factions plugin)
- Custom color/messages when a players join/quit the game
- The Minecraft basic death messages (like Craftirc's plugin)
- Seeing the reason when a player is banned or kicked
Thanks for your answer
@datwerd86
Did you create the .channel file?
no chat appears in irc from minecraft or minecraft from irc
bot says he connects but doesnt show up in user list
Hey thanks for pointing that out I changed it to .commands a few builds ago.
I'll look into the other one
On the commands page, the command to list commands inside the IRC channel is listed as .listcommands. When typed, it just returns as if I typed .list. (Maybe s.startsWith() ?) I found out typing .commands returns the proper messages instead. Not sure if that was meant or not. Also, when I try to .thor <player> or .smite <player> it returns with "Error: null" in the chat (with the console feedback enabled of course) and nothing on the server console regarding errors. Would it be possible to fix this?
Thanks and this is a great plugin!
@ProjectNarna
Thats fixed will be in the next update
@thernztrom
Will look into that, thanks
@fletch_to_99
Im receiving these errors on shutdown, running latest version 1.602:

@fletch_to_99
That is what is showing in the IRC Channel. The chat formatting isn't being stripped of colours I think.
@ProjectNarna
Which chat mode an to or from irc?
iChat isn't working so nicely with IRC. <ยง3Nub> Herp Derp. Not a major issue. But it's poking my OCD :P
