Available Effects:
Effect | Description |
---|---|
Blindness | You can only see a few blocks far |
Confusion (Nausea) | Same effect after leaving a portal |
Hunger | The hungerbar empties faster |
Lifesteal | The monster steals your health |
Poison | You get a poison |
Slow | You move slower |
Slow digging | You dig slower |
Steal | The monster steals one of your items |
Weakness | You make less damage |
Critical hit | Increases the damage to you |
Burn | You are set on fire |
Fast digging (Haste) | You dig faster |
Fire resistance | You are resistant to fire |
Health boost | Adds extra health |
Jump (Jump boost) | You jump higher |
Night vision | You see better in the dark |
Regeneration | Regenerates your health |
Water breathing | You can breath underwater |
Speed | You move faster |
Permisson:
- monef.admin → Use the commands, you get notified when an update is available
- monef.god → The effects doesn't apply on you
Commands:

/monef add <world> <monster> <effect> | Add a effect for a monster in a world |
/monef add <world> <monster> chance <value> | Add the chance for the monster. This chance aplies for all effects of the monster |
/monef add <world> <monster> <effect> <argument> <value> | Add an argument for the effect. For example the duration or message |
/monef add <world> <monster> <effect> chance <value> | Add the chance for the effect. This chance only aplies for the effect. |
/monef del <world> | Delete a world |
/monef del <world> <monster> | Delete a monster |
/monef del <world> <monster> <effect> | Delete an effect |
/monef del <world> <monster> chance | Delete the chance for the monster |
/monef del <world> <monster> <effect> <argument> | Delete an argument for the effect |
/monef del <world> <monster> <effect> chance | Delete the chance for the effect |

Just update!!!!
Sorry for the lack of updates, but the plugin has been tested, and it DOES work for any MC version in 1.7. That includes 1.7.2 and 1.7.9.
Xerox, if you dont have time to finish an update of this, just say so. It's a great plugin. Would love to see it updated but shit or get off the pot :)

I currently have been very busy. I am trying to find time to work on this plugin. I also have run into a coding error regarding an effect that was coded with code that is no longer available in Minecraft and Bukkit,
any news on the new update? are you planning on cb1.7.2-r0.3 release?

It also seems baby zombies have steal enabled by default? I took off the steal effect from zombies until that is fixed but baby zombies still steal items. Is there a config for baby zombies? (checked your documentation and did not see anything about them)

@ProfX66 Thanks, I am already working on a new fixed version.
Noticed a bug with the steal effect. If the mob steals armor, it is duped, both the player and the mob have them and when the mob dies the dupe is dropped and the player will pick it up.

I'm very interested in having different effects added. Where's the src? I see its listed as open on the license but dont see a link anywhere.
Some things off the top of my head that I will probably have coded in the future.
Thorns (a portion of damage returned back to the player) SummonPlayer (summons a player to the mob) Translocate (teleports to the player) Fireball/Witherskull (hurls one of these at the player.

Also to let you know, Lifesteel is broken. It will set the enderman at vanilla hp amounts. It should be reading the max hp or monitoring what other plugins can do. If a plugin changes Enderman hp it will not work properly.
Been testing this live.

If you set up the config manually, you should write all monster in lowercase and in one word, like "cavespider". "zombie_ironspade" is a special feature. For this example, a zombie with an iron shovel in it's hand can have another effect as the normal zombie. This feature is already implemented, but I'm still testing it. I will add a description for the setup page in the next few days...
