Pathmaker
Pathmaker is a plugin that is perfect for survival-servers where the players build their own villages. When players walks over a block enough times, it will eventually get trampled down, and turn in to the next block. The results after a long time of "testing" were amazing, the paths in a player-made village will look amazing over time, and there is no problem turning it back to grass, just break the blocks and replace them.

How does it work?
When a player walks over a grassblock(every block will be replacable when i implement the config) a certain amount of times, 3 is default, the grassblock will turn into dirt. The dirtblock will turn into grass again after a while, so a trip in the nature won't destroy it. When walking over the dirtblock 6 more times, it will turn into Gravel. the gravel-block will turn into cobblestone after 8 more.

This plugin will not be updated until i can make plugins for 1.8. If you need this plugin, and is still playing on 1.7.*, this version should work. If not, tell me.

Hi Devbluekelp. I usually make small plugins like this one, and then forget them. It's been a while since last time i did anything here because i'm waiting for 1.8.
Feel free to use the idea, and make something better than mine :). Worldguard support seems like a cool idea. I would appreciate if you gave me credits for the idea, but as i said; i usually abandon all my project after a short time, so feel free to continue it.

i liked the idea so much i wrote my own version last night!
i won't be a dick and steal your thunder but i will be sending PRs once it's on github to merge the two :)
would also like to eventually add world guard region detection so i can exempt some places (like sometimes i use the free green grass carpet in my homes).
can also be used to increase the trample damage to crops (convert soil -> dirt x% of the time, etc.)
could be configured to have players leave a trail of gold where they walk if you wanted to configure it that way, etc., or turn diamond ore into stone if walked on to make it harder, etc.
need to update w/different perms so can have N material transition paths and use whichever the player has perms to, allow "forks" in the transition paths. e.g., higher ranks wouldn't have perm to the "trample crops" path so it'd stay like vanilla.

Is it possible to get a beta or something like that? :) Im in the beta stages of making a new kind of survival server and this plugin would help a lot to make the server unique :D

Love this concept. Eager to give it a shot on my server and see what people think. I have some "hidden" dungeons, so this could be a player-made way of helping other people to find these less-frequented locations. Keep up the god work and let us all know how development is going. :)
