Mob Drop Stopper
This is a simple plugin which can remove or replace items dropped by mobs. It was originally created for use with Cauldron servers and mods that replace vanilla items with modded ones (on some versions of Cauldron this will result in both the modded and vanilla drop rather than a replacement - for example cows dropping both raw hides and leather when only hides are intended). However. it could be used on any server to remove item drops. Unlike other plugin that edit item drops per mob, this edits drops on a per item basis, so if you want to remove a certain item categorically it simple - say, no ghast tears in UHC, for example. And now, it has commands, no more going in to edit the config by hand (unless that's just your style).

This plugin is back, and should now be fixed.
Changes include:
- commands have been added so that you no longer have to edit the config by hand
- It will now edit drops for any entiry except a player or vehicle (this allow it to work with modded on Cauldron mobs as well as flying mobs).
As far as I know, everything works now - no deleting player drops, no crashing when reading the config, etc. Being a small, simple plugin I don't think much else can go wrong (or needs to be added).
I've "retired" from modding, and will not be making any new mods or updates; please don't ask for them.
Anyone who has version 1.1.1 should go back to 1.1.0. For unknown reasons 1.1.1 doesn't work (its the exact same source code, just a different default config.yml). I don't know if its a difference in the Java compiler version or what but I don't feel like figuring it out today.
There is one newly discovered bug - 1.1.0 actually doesn't work on flying mobs (which Bukkit considers not creatures for some reason), so it will not effect ghast's drops.
Sorry, I've been away and pretty sick as well. I supposed I should have a null example for both; this is more a matter of how Bukkit works by default, but isn't obvious at first. Perhaps if I get around to it I should consider adding an admin command to make things simpler.
Thanks to disciple218 for adding helpful instructions. Yes, that is exactly how to make it work.

My works just fine, here's my config: http://pastebin.com/Ru3sUk4q
Had a problem with players dropping pumpkins instead of iron ingots, but the author fixed it right away, thanks again!!
@disciple218
Sorry for the inconvenience. A fix will be here as soon as it gets approved (which seems to take longer than with Forge mods).
Players are being affected, not just mobs. I'm trying to prevent iron farms by replacing dropped iron with pumpkins, and when players die their iron ingots drop as pumpkins.
