Minigames
== NOTICE == 9 Aug 2016 ==
As most of you have already worked out, public support for this project has been non existent. Unfortunately with the workload of trying to manage and run a server network where minigames is only 1 out of what feels like 1000 projects we maintain... It gets hard trying to find time to help everyone.
But fear not this project is indeed not abandoned! We have moved the project to SpigotMC:

++Update Note Aug 2017++
Please Note I have provided updated downloads for all versions back to 1.7 .. We are trying to get some idea of what versions people are running still and what we need to focus on...updating will help us target our product improvements.

Minigames is a plugin in which users can create and play several types of Minigames on a server, without the risk of losing items or XP when they die. Players can also use checkpoints so when they die, they are reverted back to that position.

- Deathmatch - A free for all deathmatch round against any predefined amount of players, first to a defined score wins!
- Spleef - Its possible to create custom Spleef arenas, as well as your standard spleef arena.
- Treasure Hunt - A global treasure finding Minigame that is always running
- CTF - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame.
- Infection - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame where the infected players must kill all survivors.
Features:
- Prizes for completing a Minigame

Click here for videos of this plugin in action.
Purpose:
Minigames was created for players to play games within a server and win prizes for completion, also to let players play PvP games without the risk of losing their hard earned items and XP. Minigames also reward players for completing each Minigame, or with PvP Minigames, the player can be rewarded with 'bets' that players make before they start the Minigame. These bets can be in Economy money or preset items.
These Minigames can be created in any style the player wishes, for example, parkour jump puzzles, mazes and treasure hunts. As well as PvP games like CTF, races and more. You are given a lot of options to add to each Minigame individually, so they are all completely customisable.

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
- And the amount of players playing games. Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.
Minigame Mashup:
We Be Pirates (Teaser)
Basic Region & Nodes Tutorial
@_Razz_ Imo you should make the tutorial after you get CTF working on this plugin so you don't have to re-do it again because I can imagine setting up the flag will need a tutorial etc.
An update is on the way! I also have finally updated the tutorial page and command list page. I shall be doing some video tutorials again soon. I'll see about doing the rest of them all at once so you guys don't have to wait.
Remember to report problems and errors on the tickets page with details on how to reproduce the problem. Errors themselves don't really help. Also if necessary, post the config file for the Minigame that was being played when the error occurred, this can also help.
@Yndi74
Huh... Weird. Btw requireflags was removed, the flag itself is getting removed from the Minigame. I'm updating soon, that will be fixed in that update.
@Thrystor
The spleef lag would be to do with Minecrafts teleporting mechanic. Make sure the players aren't teleporting too far to join the game. Heads don't auto equip, on that note, both teams have the same load out, so that wouldn't be possible currently anyway.
All of a sudden I am getting these errors.

I have 1 problem with Flags. There is everything properly after a setting. But if 1 player finish the game the
require flags: true
changes to
require flags: false
The next player can finish without capturing the flags.
I try /minigame set <Minigame Name> requireflag true command but give me error invalid command
minigames: 1.3.2a
craftbukkit: 2488 beta build 1.4.5-R0.2
This is a really nice plugin! I already use it for a few things. One thing I can't get working though is the spleef. I use modifyworld to prevent players from breaking blocks in my minigames world, but even though my players supposedly have permission to break netherrack (The spleef floor) they can never seem to be able to break it. This is probably more a problem with modifyworld than with your plugin though. There's also a massive lag spike whenever a game of spleef starts. My other totally unrelated question is: Do heads in a loadout auto-equip? I was thinking a creeper-vs-skeleton team deathmatch might be nice.
@Camonsters
Maybe not a gamemode, but I'll add something where you can place certain blocks (And maybe break) that you can select. Could then be done using the LMS minigame.
@simplimazing
^
Is there a way to allow players to place items in the different minigames? Particularly the LMS?
Absolutely amazing plugin. I use it on my server for parkour.
Hey I was wondering if you could add a Bomberman like minigame to this. My server has created a game where it is an arena where the whole floor is charged with redstone torches so they place tnt and try and kill each other. Last person alive wins. It is very similar to the spleef minigame so I was wondering if you could try and make this possible because it is annoying to try and host this without something like what you made for spleef. Thank you for reading this and I hope you can at least think about this.
@n00bsaus
They are, those time options are in the config. Default is one per hour, that lasts an hour.
Changed all my parkour matches to not have automated teleporters to reset to spawn. You were right-your system is better. But about your Scavenger Hunts-why are they not automated (A.K.A. after Person X finds chest, wait 15 seconds, spawn new chest in random location)? Or am I just not seeing that option?
@simplimazing
Add items to the loadout.
@levisn1
Server version and are there any errors in console?
In my tdm arenas when i die the plugin bring me to the spawn, but this not happen with spleef arena thant seems works good, when i die it bring me to the lobby.
i use Essentials Spawn and Multiverse.
The treasure chests are always empty. How do I change this?
@zacka123321
There is a command list (on this page). A couple commands missing i think though, I'll look through and update it. Otherwise, typing /mgm help will show them, or any command without its parameters will give detailed info on that command.
As for the lobby time, that setting is in the main config.
Just update the config.
Is there an updated full list of commands. If not is there a command to change the time in the lobbies from 10 seconds, its a bit two quick.
@marotoweb
Well that would be a problem. Minigames uses CraftBukkit 1.4.2-R0.1 as well as Bukkit 1.4.2-R0.1. Meaning its really unable to support any other version but newer ones (Occasionally). The problem would be with that version you're running, and I can't fix that.
@psirusa
ey disable Factions in the world where you want use minegames..
http://massivecraft.com/plugins/factions/config
