Same here! I think high speeds are very senseless when leaving the streets causes the minecar to immediately drop, unless you build very broad streets. When I first downloaded the plugin I thought the minecar would be bound to the street just like normal minecarts are bound to rails.
Great plugin though, I always missed cars in minecraft without having to install client mods.
get me your source code, and I will make you a sign component for buying fuel.
I can also make a sign for buying like a drivers license. right clicking will just send a command to Vault to add the permissions to that player to allow using the car.
This will allow players to drive in, up to a sign, right-click to fuel up, and drive away, simulating a gas station.

Also, suggestions. A way to detect going up a road that is angled. You can go down cuz teh cart falls on a block, but trying to go up a slant, you just get stuck. Also suggestion of maybe adding ownership to minecarts, upon placing, so that only the owner can use his car?
Another suggestion, make minecart always face player direction.
And a bug, I have perms all set up correctly, but trying to use /mcg fuel and /mcg adminfuel doesnt work, but all other commands do. I get an Internal error when trying to use that command. All others work. This bug only seems to happen to me, as an Admin/Owner of server, normal players it works just fine.
Also, restarted server, plugin is using default values even though values in config are different, have to manually reload after restart to get config options to change.
How about jumps? Could have several types, iron goes up 2 blocks, gold blocks go up 4 blocks, diamond blocks up 6, or whatever's in the config. We made a huge track with obstacles and speed boosts and it has been great fun!
If they could drive over rails that'd make great ramps too!
If they could drive over and activate pressure plates it could be like Death Race and activate traps in the other lanes or cause dispensers to launch arrows and kill your opponents! Along with falsebook it could activate gates and holes and barriers for all kinds of chaotic fun on the track!
If it had some kind of lap counter that'd be sweet too :) But that's probably another plugin completely.

I wasn't able to test all types of Streets in V1.3 because I didn't have that much time..
You are welcome. Yeah the new patch fixes a lot of bugs, minecarts are destroyed when leave the road, and minecarts won't spawn when breaking black wools now :D. However, like chaosorder said, people still can't ride on black wool. Whenever someone get on, the minecart got destroyed.
Despite the black wool bug, if I change 'useWool' to 'false' and use other block instead, minecarts won't be destroyed when people get on.
Now is the buggy part :P
I built a long road of gray wools with a glass wall at the end. Then I placed a minecart and ride it, it will just go through the wall. I believe it's not magic, but it's because the base block is still wool, and that allow minecar to go through any layer of wall.
Another strange bug is: normally when I have a non-road block on my road, I will 'trip' over it and my minecart will get destroyed. But the strange part is that I got 'tripped' and flew 9-10 blocks away from that non-road block.
And um...when I switch back to wool, getting on a minecart that's on top of black wools won't destroy the minecart, but the it won't move.
There is no console log for it sorry. However, I used it with some other plugins like NoLagg and NoCheat, and I got a ridiculous bug. If I place a minecart on wools and destroy it, then I destroy any wool on that surface, that wool block turns into a minecart. I'll do further testing to tell you more details.

Please delete your minecars.db and restart your server, this should fix your problem!
Also - when you set down a cart on to the defined block, it does not remove it from your inventory. After 20 min of this everyone had 10000000000000000 mine carts.

I can confirm this error, when using wool as street. I switched to 7 bedrock as street and 4 cobblestone for highway and then carts get destroyed on leaving.
I found 2 other errors.
1. Gave permissions , minecars.useCommands and minecars.move. On wool normal players could not drive, on stone like above they can.
2. if you use wool as streets and build walls of wool, it's possible to drive thru walls.
I have an suggestion: "Cars" are unable to drive up or down a hill. A configurable block like steps 44:0 44:3 44:6 would be fine, so that cars can drive up and down on a hill.

Can you maybe make it to where the minecarts dont just run straight into walls and get stuck or straight into fences and other things and get stuck?

I just dl'd the new one and I'm on the default settings. it works great on the gray wool but the black wool does not let me move.
edit: now the black wool just destroys the cart when i try to get on, and driving from gray to black also destroys the cart.

Hi, help. Now when i try /mcg gear 1 or 2 or 3 nothing happens.
Now I can place minecarts on the street blocks, but minecarts still aren't destroyed when I go over it.
