MagicalSpells is a plugin that allows users to craft wands from materials and cast the spells available to that wand. It is fully configurable and people can create their own custom wands and spells. This video will show you the basics:

Description
MagicalSpells is a plugin that allows the users to cast magic and craft wands whenever they want. It lets them collect the correct materials for a specific wand, craft the wand and then cast spells using that wand. It can be configured to disable magic in worldguard zones, undo the explosions and damage to the environment, change the cost, cooldown, size and range of each spell and even create your own spells and wands.

Ive fixed the ice blocks and have now started on the permissions. And i wont make it opem source as that won't help me fix the problems.
The only problem i have with this mod is the permissions. I am currently using PEX and cannot get any perms to work on different groups. Other than tht great mod!

I edited all the spells, wands, and cooldowns and removed the shit spells that don't work or leave the terrain damaged.
Problems: -Spells which utilize fire (armageddon, fireball, meteor) leave the terrain scarred -Permissions need to be addressed, I had to do a workaround to create the groups that I wanted using negative permission nodes. (Specifically the spelllist and craftlist permission nodes) -Ice arrows etc are broken (leave ice blocks behind) -If the ice is melted before the terrain restore triggers, the water will remain
Would love to help you, unfortunately there is no source code.
Is there any API or events for skill activation/checking ?
Would be intersting for providing compatibility with, say, NoCheatPlus...

Im not sure this is considered a problem. It has done that forever. perhaps its impossible to fix? tree's from the tree spell don't disappear either
but anyway, is there a way to make the explosion spells not actually explode blocks?
and a way to make the spells that destroy/create/change blocks to not work in world guarded zones, but everything else to work in non pvp world guard regions

How to unbind an spell?
It seems that the issue with the ice is only with the freeze arrow spell. I changed the preset wands so that the freeze arrow is no longer part of the water wand default set, instead it just uses the freeze spell.

You should consider releasing the source code so that other people can help you resolve the issue with the freeze arrow etc... I love the plugin but I hate the fact that the ice blocks don't go away and i've checked my permissions multiple times.

Hey I'm using your plugin, for some reason the Ice blocks from ice-arrow are not going away. I changed the config and made sure that the terrain regeneration value was set to true...
Any suggestions are welcome.
how do you enable spells in a certain WorldGuard region?
@janie177 Ok ill try to fix it soon, but im quite busy atm so it might take some time.
@SuperMalik If you disabled the update notification then everyone would still use an outdated version with the bugs in.
@Sarge22234 If i do that ill make it a separate plugin from this or possibility an addon for this one. But i like the idea and its defiantly possible.

@RG_PankO Yeah, there seems to be a bug with PEX, i think a way to fix it is to negate the permissions, e.g. do: - '-magicalspells.overridecarft'
I have the issue with the NoCost of the Make Wand command and that's a problem for me.
I want to have two different wands and people choose for which wand to get the mats. But atm they can make both wands regarding of the mats I give them :/
Please fix this issue. Using PEX here aswell if it amtters.
I had one more idea.
Make hunger or health be a possible spell cost.

Hmm yea that's what I'm using at the moment it would be nice if there was a heal that instantly healed the player your looking at like the heal and godheal but for other people.
Also an idea for later if you get free time, Aoe spells that originate from the player, such as imolation or lightning shields etc
@janie177 Actually what I was going for is each spell book is configurable in the config file. Do they would be pre defined. And it needs to be configurable so that people can't craft books. And instead of exchanging the spells I was thinking there would be a limit to how many spells the master wand can hold. (also configurable) then maybe, just maybe, when you die you loose one or more spells that get dropped as loot for the person who killed you.
Also perhaps unstead of reading the books then having the spells be added to the wand. He spell books have to be in your hot bar. And the spells in your hot bar show up in your master wand. Or make each book have one spell and you left click with the book to use the spell?
Basically I just need a cool system that allows people to graduAtly gain spells. Now that I think about it I like the left click books for single spells. By I also like the read a book to gain the spell on the master wand.

That book idea is really nice! Do you mean like you craft a magical book, and when you read it the spells will be added to the master wand. And when reading another magical book the new spells will be added and the old ones removed? I think it would be overpowered if all spells could be added to one wand. And how about the books having craft recipes? So you can't just write down something, but you would need some dark ritual which requires some sacrafices. Then after you sacrafice stuff the book would fall from the sky on you sacrafice altar. that would be nice I think :D
This a great plugin! but can you please, please make an opiton to DISABLE THESE UPDATE NOTIFICATIONS?!
