LoreTime is a date plugin geared towards RP servers. When a player issues the /loretime command, they are given the current in-game date which can be customized to fit the server's theme. Admins can adjust the date in-game as well as save/reload the config. The plugin updates the date at midnight in-game time (18000).
With our standard calendar:
With The Elder Scrolls Calendar:
Note: Days in a month must be divisible by the days in a week, a limitation I hope to remove in the future. For example, in the image above you may notice that the 31st of July of 2011 is actually a Sunday rather than a Tuesday.
FEATURES:
- custom month/day names
- in-game time
- custom formatting
- user specified days in a week/months in a year
- supports permissions
- "calendars" - simply add "[calendar]" without quotes to the first line of a sign then right click the sign to get the date! (temporarily removed)
- multiworld support

@yurikoma
I've been working on it for the past couple days. It should be done this weekend.
@rmh4209
any ideas when something may happen with this?
@m9731526
That might work. I've been thinking about adding holidays for a while. The way that I was setting it up was just to give days special names. I can certainly add that feature.
Hey, I really like your plugin ,and I am thinking that maybe you are trying to add some function or effect with the events/holidays system, the day before yesterday it occurs to me you can just add "console cmd" to combine other plugins, just like:
date:1,3 (the first month in the list and the third day in the month)
cmd: bloodmoon on
time: sunset (day/night/sunrise/ticks)
and it can make the day always appear the blood moon!
@yurikoma
Yeah. There were some things that weren't working. Day suffixes included. And yes, I'm going to be working on that. What I'm currently working on is adding "seasons" and "holidays."
@rmh4209
hey, i noticed the daySuffixes aren't working,
also I would also love it if you could include the ability to customise each month separately, mainly how many days in each
@rmh4209
Ah thank you. I should have checked the config first :)
@Hangar
The whole time change thing is changeable. All you have to do is change the following setting: newDayTime
Midnight is about 18000, dawn is about 23000.
@Hangar
I'll consider that. Thanks for the suggestion :)
It might be neat to be able to create a system for rotating year names like the Chinese calendar has, but instead of using 12 animals you could customize it and have things like "Year of the Creeper" and such.
Just an idea :)
@foreverblu
As far as the lore suggestion goes, I will be adding the opportunity to have holidays in-game (certain days designated and given names). It will most likely be up to the server admins to add a story behind the holiday.
As for gods, check out my plugin WillOfTheGods.
hm. I will defintely get this. But...after you add the invents-
Suggestions:
- Lore. There can be a time where the loremaker(admins) make stories and tell them :) - Gods. Since lores usually have something to do with mythical creatures.....(not really sure about this one but...)
v264 is now uploaded.
Changelog:
I was conversing with SHiLLySiT earlier and he has given me permission to continue his work with this plugin. Once he adds me to the page, I will make a release of the new version that fixes any issues found here.
@rmh4209
I've figured out the issue with the error. If one of your worlds isn't named world, then the plugin will crash.
It's working for me. You just have to make sure that the configuration files follow the directions.
I dunno about you guys, the plugin works great on my server. All I did was install it so maybe its conflicting with another plugin you guys have.
I'm getting the same errors as everyone else, I've always had trouble with this plugin, such a shame too.
I get the same issue. I'd love to make lore time part of my role playing server but I too see the exact errors below reported by gabriel. I hope these are eventually resolved.
Thank you
Is there a way for the server to broadcast the time on each new day?
